2、BY ACCEPTED BY FITTING EXAMINATION PROCEDURE 1. General 1.1 This procedure is applicable to the pressure vessels which are fabricated in accordance with ASME Code Section Ⅷ Division 1.矚慫润厲钐瘗睞枥庑赖。 1.2 The examiner shall be experienced. The natural or corrected acuity of examiner shall be

5、shall be such that the maximum offset is not greater than the applicable amount for the welded joint category under consideration, as separately listed in following tables per materials used. 7、E 2 2.2 Any offset within the allowable tolerance specified in the table 1 above shall be faired at a three to one taper over the width of the finished weld, or if necessary, by adding additional weld metal beyond what would otherwise be the edge of the weld. Such additional weld metal shall

11、Examination Method 3.1 The amount of offset at any point of butt-welded joints shall be examined with weld gage.擁締凤袜备訊顎轮烂蔷。 3.2 The taper faired at finished weld shall be measured with a steel ruler.贓熱俣阃歲匱阊邺镓騷。 3.3 Before welding the lap joint, the examiner shall measure the lap width which

12、 is determined by the requirements of the drawings with a steel ruler (the worker shall make the lapping mark previously). After alignment, the examiner shall measure the lap heights between two lapped plates with a plug gauge before welding, and shall re-check the lapped width against the lapped ma

13、rk by visual examination.坛摶乡囂忏蒌鍥铃氈淚。 3.4 The circumferential distance of the centers of the welded longitudinal joints of adjacent sections is measured by means of steel tape.蜡變黲癟報伥铉锚鈰赘。 3.5 The zero degree point of the vessel shall be determined and be set at the highest position. The examine

14、r shall check the circumferential orientations of nozzles at the vessel with an angle finder. The circumferential orientation of other aligned attachments shall be checked against the arc length.買鲷鴯譖昙膚遙闫撷凄。 3.6 The longitudinal distances of nozzles and other aligned attachments may be measured wi

15、th a steel tape.綾镝鯛駕櫬鹕踪韦辚糴。 3.7 The heights of nozzles, the parallelism or perpendicularity between the faces of flanges and the axis of revolution for shell shall be measured with a steel tape and a right square.驅踬髏彦浃绥譎饴憂锦。 4. Examination Record The results of examination shall be recorded on the list of "Check Record of Fitting Parts Location" (Form QCEP-04-1).猫虿驢绘燈鮒诛髅貺庑。
