【拓展知识】难忘的英国之行一伦敦眼，大本钟（二）
是不是大本钟和威斯敏斯特教堂在一起就不那么显眼了，都被教堂的风姿 给掩盖掉了，呵呵。这个教堂可是世界上最大的哥特式建筑了。而旦在英国历 史上起着非常重要的作用。从1066年的征服王威廉到1953年的伊丽莎臼二 世，它都是皇室加冕礼的举办地。同时它也是历代君主和功勋卓著的人的埋葬 之地，像前英国首相丘吉尔的遗体告别仪式就是在这里举行的。
在大本种的对岸就是伦敦眼了。伦敦眼实际上就是一个巨大的摩天轮。坐
6、 在上面绕一圈（一般30分钟）可以俯瞰整个伦敦的全景。非常漂亮。特别是看 夜景的时候，坐这个摩天轮是不错的选择。伦敦眼开放的时间是最长的了，每 天10:00 am—9:30 pm。伦敦眼前面的通道，每天都异常热闹，游客们纷纷云集 此处。后面的房子里有售票处，因为这是一个轮船码头，在这里可以买票上船 在河上观光。不管是买了票排队的，还是不坐摩天轮的，都可以在这里找到乐 子。这房子里吃喝玩乐，应有尽有。纪念品店也很多，还有很多街头艺人自发 在这条通道上表演节目。
