I think you may go to Chinese classes. Make Chinese friends and talk with them. You can listen to real Chinese songs or see Chinese films. You’d better read more Chinese stories. Believe yourself, and try to read Chinese loudly, learn Chinese words and useful phrases and sentences by heart. It’s a great idea for you to talk with your friends in simple Chinese. You should also have a dictionary. It’s very useful when you read Chinese newspapers. Keeping a diary in Chinese is a good idea, too. When you have difficulties in learning, you can ask Chinese teachers or friends for help.
Chinese is not very difficult. I believe you can learn it well.
