1. as soon as 一…就…（引导时间状语，常用一般现在时表示将来动作）
【例1】My son will call me as soon as he gets home.我儿子一到家就会给我打xx。
【例2】I fell in love with this city as soon as I arrived in Beijing.我一到北京就爱上了这个城市。
【例3】He was tired, He fell asleep as soon as he sat down. 他很累，一坐下就睡着了。

2. as…as / so…as 肯定句：像…一样 （…用adj.或adv.原级）
not as…as / not so…as 否定句：…不如….（前者不如后者）;
【例1】He runs so fast as my dog. 他跑得和我的狗一样快。
【例2】My uncle is not as tall as your father.我叔叔没有你父亲高。（否定句）
【例3】as cold as ice冷如冰； as busy as bee 忙如蜜蜂, as bright as day 亮如白昼

3. as….as possible 尽可能的…，尽量… 〖ASAP: as soon as possible 尽快 〗
【例1】When we speak to people,we should be as polite as possible.和人说话时，我们应尽量礼貌。

7. be afraid of doing sth./that 害怕做某事； 担心做….

11. both…and…两者…都 （连接两个主语时，谓语动词用复数！）
【例1】Both he and I are righr. 他和我都对了。（谓语用are!）
【例2】He both passed the exam and enriched his knowledge.他通过了考试，还丰富了知识。

12. neither…nor…既不…也不…（连接两个主语时，谓语动词就近原则）
【例1】Neither he nor I am wrong.他和我都没有错。（连接两个主语，就近用am ）
【例2】He neither worte nor telephoned. 他没写信也没打xx。（连接两位谓语动词）

13.either…or…或者…或者…，要么…要么…（连接两个主语时，谓语动词就近原则）
【例1】Either he or I am wrong. 要么他错，要么我错。（谓语动词用am）
【例2】Either he or you are wrong.不是他错，就是你错。（谓语动词用are）

14. buy/give/show/send/pass/bring/lend/tell sb. sth. 买/给/展示/送去/递/带来/借出/告诉
（及物动词后跟双宾语，sb.间接宾语，物sth.直接宾语）
【例1】My mother bought me a puter.我妈妈给我买个电脑。
【例2】My classmate lent me some books. 我的同学借给我一些书。（主语借出去，borrow借进）

15. give/show/send/pass/bring/lend/tell sth to sb. (buy sth. for sb.)
(双宾语换位置，把直接宾语sth.提前，要用介词to放在间接宾语sb.之前)
【例1】Our teacher show some pictures to us.老师给我们看了一些图片。
【例2】He passed a book to me just now.他刚才给我递过一本书。

【例1】The weather is getting warmer and warmer.天气正变得越来越暖。

17. get on with/ get along with 与…相处, 情况..

★　can’t help doing sth.禁不住做某事，忍不住做某事
【例3】 They couldn’t help laughting when they heard the news.他们听到这个消息禁不住笑起来。

21. I don’t think that我认为….不（译成中文要否定转移，转移到从句谓语动词前）

25. It’s time for… / It’s time to do sth.是该做….的时候了；
【例1】It’s time for dinner. 是该吃晚饭时间了

26. keep sb.doing 让某人一直做某事
【例1】We tried hard to keep him talking.我们努力试着让他一直讲话。

(let/make/see/hear/watch/feel使役和感官动词后跟不带to的动词不定式)

32. not…until… 直到….才….（表示动作直到until时间才发生）
【例1】Because I missed the bus ,I did not get to school until 8:00.
因为我错过公交，直到八点我才赶到学校。
【例2】I hadn’t realized she was a foreigner until she spoke.直到她说话我才意识到她是个外国人。

33. so…that 如此…以致… (与such…that…比较，such修饰名词)
（so＋adj.adv.＋that so修饰形容词和副词 ）

【例2】He is so clearless a student that he forgets to take his book.他是那么粗心的学生,忘记带书。

35. stop sb. from doing sth. 阻止某人做某事
【例1】Let’s stop him from smoking. 我们去阻止他吸烟。
【例2】Could you stop him from swimming in the river? 你能阻止他在河里游泳吗？
36. stop to do sth. 停下来去做某事（停下来去做另一件事）
Stop doing sth.停止做某事（停下正在做的事情）

38. too…to 太….而不能….
【例1】The maths problem is too difficult for me to work out.这道数学题太难，我解不出来。
【例2】He is too yang to join the army.他年龄太小，不能参军。
例3】She is too yang to know the difference between right and wrong.她太小不能明辨是非对错。

39. I would like to… 我愿意… ； 我想要做…..(跟动词原形)
Would you like to…你愿意…. ；你想做…(跟动词原形)
【例1】I would like to express my thanks for all you have done.我想对你做的一切表达我的感谢。
【例2】Would you like to eat some fruit?你想吃点水果吗？

40.Will/Would/Could you please….
【例1】Will/Would/Could you please tell me where I can buy some apples?
Would you mind doing sth. ?你介意做某事吗？

41. It’s important for sb. to do sth. 做某事对某人很重要
( It’s difficult for sb. to do sth. 做某事对某人很困难)
【例1】It’s important for us to have a good knowledge of English.对我们来说掌握好的英语知识很重要。
【例2】It’s difficult for me to finish my homework in two hours.对我来说要在两小时内完成作业有困难。
find it ＋adj.＋to do sth. 发现做某事怎么样

42. used to +动词原形：过去常做…(表示过去经常做得事情而现在不做了)
【例1】My grandpa used to tell me a lot of stories when I was a child.
在我小时候，我爷爷常常给我讲很多故事。
【例2】I used to go to school by bike when I was in Mianyang. 我在绵时常常骑车上学。
【例3】I usedn’t to eat hamburger, but now I like it.我过去不喜欢吃汉堡,但我现在喜欢了。（否定）
l Be used to do sth.被用来做某事：
l Be used to doing sth.习惯做某事（过去不习惯）
【例4】I am used to riding a bike to go to school.我习惯骑车上学。
43. one …the other 一个….另一个（the other表示两者中的另一个，可单独用，也可修饰名词）
Somr…others 一些….其余的….,；一些…另一些…
【例1】Two places in Beijing are well-known .one is the Great Wall, the other is the Summer Palace.
北京的两个地方很有名，一个是长城，一个是颐和园。
【例2】Some toys are planes, 0thers (=other toys)are cars.一些玩具是飞机，其余的是小汽车。
【例3】Some boys are play basketball, Others(=other boys)are play football.一些男孩在玩篮球，另一些在踢足球。（其余的在踢足球）

44. see/hear sb. do sth. 看见/听见某人做过某事 或经常做某事
(感官动词后跟不带to的动词不定式)
【例1】I saw him send the message by his cellphone.我看见他用手机发短信。
【例2】He often hear someone sing in the kitchen. 他常听见某人在厨房唱歌。
See/hear sb. doing sth看见/听见某人正在做某事（doing动作正在进行中）

45.　The ＋比较级，the ＋比较级 ， 越…，越….
【例1】The more kooks you read, the more words you will get.你读书越多，掌握的词汇越多。
【例2】The busier he is, the happier he feels.他越忙越开心。
