“元”系指人民币且RMB标识之定义相同，为本合同中使用的货币单位。
“生效日”系指_____________。

“报价概要”系指承办商在合同或任何合同补充文件中制定的、用于计算承包商服务价值的费率。
“法律”系指所有当前及未来法律、立法、补充立法、制订法、法令、议事程序、规则、规定、通知以及相关政府、准政府、法定管理或监管机构的要求。
“物业”系指附件1中规定的物业。
“主管”（或缩写SO）系指雇主及其承继人指定的高级职员并包括主管不时书面授权的、有权代表其履行合同的人士。
“主管代表”系指主管雇主不时指定的并书面通知承包商的、监督工程（包括就变更工程向承包商发出指示）的主管助理。
“有效期”系指自________并于以下较早日期届满的期限：
(a) _______________之日午夜；以及
(b) 本协议终止之日午夜。
“工程”系指根据合同执行的全部或部分工程（除非另行规定），包括承包商在合同下使用或提供的设备、装置、器械与其他物件以及承包商按照合同完成的工程。

根据上下文需要，上述术语之单数形式亦包括其复数形式，反之亦然。

1.2 其他规定

"Dollars" shall mean RMB and the sign "RMB" shall have the corresponding meaning and shall be the unit of currency used in the Contract.

earthquakes, fire, lightning, storms, floods or any other occurrence caused by the operation of the forces of nature;

"Summary of Quotation" shall mean the rates entered by the Contractor in this Contract or any supplementary document thereto, such rates to be used for calculating the value of Services executed by the Contractor.
"Law" shall mean any and/or all present and future laws, legislation, subsidiary legislation, statutes, orders, by-laws, rules, regulations, notices and requirements of any and/or all relevant governmental, quasi-governmental, statutory or regulatory authorities .
"Property" means the property described in Schedule 1.
"Superintending Officer" (or the initials SO) shall mean the officer so designated by the Employer and his successors in office and also such person or persons as may be deputized by the Superintending Officer in writing from time to time to act on the behalf for the purpose of this Contract.
"Superintending Officer's Representative" shall mean any assistant of the Superintending Officer appointed from time to time by the Employer of the Superintending Officer and notified in writing to the contractor to supervise the Works including issuing instructions to the Contractor in respect of variation works.
"Term" means the period commencing from and expiring at the
earlier of:
midnight of the date of ; and
midnight of the date of termination of this Agreement.
"Works" shall mean all or any portion of the works to be executed in accordance with the Contract unless otherwise stated including equipment, fittings, apparatus and everything of

every kind to be used or provided and works to be done by the Contractor under the Contract.
Words importing the singular only also include the plural and vice versa where the context requires.
1.2 Miscellaneous
Except where the context otherwise requires, words denoting the singular shall include the plural and vice versa; words denoting any gender shall include all genders; words denoting persons shall include firms and corporations and vice versa.
Unless otherwise stated, a reference to a Clause or the Schedule, is a reference to a clause or the schedule to, this Agreement.
Clause headings are for ease of reference only and do not affect the construction of this Agreement.
