Do you know what Oxfam is? Where was it started? How many branches does it have now?"Oxfam" is the short form for the Oxford Committee for Famine Relief (国际乐施会). It is an international organization to help the poor all over the world. It was started in 1942 in England during the Second World War to provide relief to war victims(受害者) in Europe. When the war was over, Oxfam continued its work, sending materials（生活必需品） and money to the poor
