The term "加拿大華人" looks like a straight translation from English. It's in current use, too, but I'm not sure about if there are any similar nuances in meaning. (Just by looking at the form of this compound, it probably just means "Chinese person in Canada", but the WP editors certainly would like to want citations for this to death.)
