Liuxiang, an honest, easy-going, confident and optimistic man, was born in Shanghai on July 13th, 1983. He has an idol of Jordon and likes listening to music, playing games and reading books. With the height of 1.89 meters he is good at 110 meters hurdles and under the training of his coach Sun Haiping, he has gained many wonderful achievements. For example, he broke the Asian record with the time 13’12 in Lausanne, Switzerland in 2002, and two years later, he won the championship again by 12’91 in Athen which ties the world record. Most excitingly, he broke the record by 12’88 in Lausanne, Switzerland on July 12th, 2006. So there is no doubt that Liu Xiang deserves the title”Chins’s first flying man”.
