Abstract

"God took five days to create the world's creation, the sixth day, he spent a full day's time to create a human..." This is the movie name origins of that "The Sixth Day". "The Sixth Day" took place in the near future. The time that almost all animals include pets can be cloned, even to the point where human cloning itself. But it is illegal to clone humans yet. In this film, Schwarzenegger act the Adam Gibson. One day he survived in a accident that would almost killed him. But when he got home, he fond a person who the same with him appeared in his family, and also took his place of the house. Moreover, his wife and kids know nothing about this. At the same time, Adam was found behind the incident was a group of people has tried every means to get rid of him, in order to keep the secret of this amazing experiment.
Adam must created a idea to rescued his family, To protect his wife and kids and the life himself. So a breathtaking journey began. At last, he fond a terrible fact that a group of clone tried to replace this world.
In order to prevent Adam put the secret to the public, the leader of cloning criminal group who directed a number of human cloning criminals to kidnapping Adam's wife and daughter and wanted to exchange with Adam. So two Adam together with each other, in order to rescue his wife and daughter, they was regardless of life and death. Finally, their rescue plan carried out smoothly, and successfully destroyed the base of clone human. The true Adam stayed, that human cloning reluctantly chose to leave.

The reason I choose this film just because I admire Arnold Schwarzenegger very much. Not only that he gains a lot of honors, more importantly, the effect he paid for them. A person who could give up everything for his dreams. A person who paid all, and also obtained everything. Arnold's extraordinary life and the spirit of never give up deeply appeal to me. From a physical weakly youth, to the winner of eight Olympic Fast food restaurants; He from an English Greek to foreigners, to today's prominent movie stars, politicians, real estate magnates and billionaires. I think this is all he should be though it looks unbelievable.
Schwarzenegger is a very professional in film which is probably his experience of successful in many years. But in the film he was almost drowned. There was a play about he, in order to evade pursuit and he hid in a large pool. Schwarzenegger was originally good at swim, and this play would easy to him. But when he sneaked into the pool, due to light an open, it suddenly became dark underwater, which made him lose the direction and hit the platform supporting the camera, but for drivers pulled him out of the water in time, may e he is really died of asphyxia.
From the Olympic food restaurants to Hollywood movie star, Schwarzenegger has overcome inconceivable difficulties. Arnold played a lot of films in all his lifetime. Such as ”Terminator Series”、”True Lies”、”Twins”...All this raged at that time and laid Schwarzenegger's star status in Hollywood. The 《The 6th Day》 film released in 2000, At that time Arnold Schwarzenegger was already a Hollwood star and people had a high hopes for him. But after the film released, many people was disappointed. Besides, a few critics satired that the film had nothing new and Schwarzenegger was old, he had lost the box-office appeal. To the failure of this film, I think it's unfair to put all the blame to Arnold. Because the film's director, is not a true action-film director, and many scenes handled still owe the furnace, while the Christmas holiday period compared to other films, the film's publicity is also nothing new, there is no bright spots, no wonder there is no good at the box office. Put aside all of the commercial factors，I think it is worth to watch .

The film has created a strange style. Entire film is dominated by the
night scene. In the film, Schwarzenegger jumped waterfalls, diving, escaped from others killing, and flying motorcycle lens similar to MTV of Yu Duo Tian. With the music of "Big Beat", entire movie is filled with a scene of unknown future. Actor called Adam, seems to insinuate the meaning of God made human.
There are lots warmth scenes in the film, and it let us see the beauty of human. When real Adam and his friend got home by car, he intended to kill off the cloning Adam. He saw cloning Adam get along well with his wife and daughter, and lived happily. The warmth scenes were infected with Adam. So Adam finally dropped gun, he could not bear to destroy such a warmth scene, because he deeply loved his wife and daughter. Another warmth scene is that the two of Adam get together and well-planed to rescue his wife and daughter. From the contents of the film, in fact, clone human is also the victims, he did not know he was someone else's copy, as two hours you can clone a person. When human cloning has been produced in secret base, he just had a dream, his memory and thinking just connected to hours before fragments. Therefore, the clone Adam also loved his wife and daughter.
Adam was cloned with a result of misunderstanding. In film, clone has been very advanced, only two hours can be copied another person, including body and mind. But the problem is that human cloning have complete human emotions, and can not be aware of their own is a "clone" products, then he has not the most basic rights of life who human should be.
There is such a scene in film: The professor's wife was going to die again, he is in love with his wife. So he asked once again to clone his wife, but was refused by his wife. After I watched the movie, I have been thinking, if I meet Arnold Schwarzenegger's experiences, how would I do? I will like Arnold Schwarzenegger to allow cloning of human beings alive, and let him have their own life? When saw the clone with your wife, what will you feeling, to me, I think it is intolerable, although that person is himself.
