一、段落朗读（20%）
选定段落进行朗读，测试学生英语发音的准确性。
20-15分：发音较好，没有错误发音，但允许有一些不影响理解的母语口音。
16-11分：发音尚可，有少许明显发音错误，但基本不影响理解。
10-6分： 发音有缺陷，错误较多，有时会影响理解。
5-0分：发音较差，简短且不连贯，以致内容几乎无法理解。
二、话题发言（30%）
选定话题发表自己的看法，准备时间一分钟，发言时间一分钟，测试学生英语口头表达及运用能力。
30-25分：能够进行连贯、准确的表达，发言的内容具有逻辑性、创新性，没有明显语法错误。
24-15分：能进行较连贯的发言，发言句式简短，组织思想和搜寻词语时经常出现停顿，出现一些影响理解的错误，但基本能够完成话题任务。
14-10分：发言简短，连贯性差，句式不够完整，选词不够准确。出现大量影响理解的错误，组织思想和搜寻词语时经常出现停顿，但基本能够完成话题任务。
10分以下：发言简短，无连贯性， 句式不完整，组织思想和搜寻词语时频繁出现较长时间的停顿，几乎无法理解，不能完成话题任务。

三、情景对话 （50%）
根据下列情景，进行对话，考察学生应用英语在日常生活中进行交流的能力。
50-45分：能够进行连贯、准确的表达，发言的内容具有逻辑性、创新性，没有明显语法错误。
44-35分：能进行较连贯的发言，发言句式简短，组织思想和搜寻词语时经常出现停顿，出现一些影响理解的错误，但基本能够完成话题任务。
34-25分：发言简短，连贯性差，句式不够完整，选词不够准确。出现大量影响理解的错误，组织思想和搜寻词语时经常出现停顿，但基本能够完成对话任务。
25分以下： 发言简短，无连贯性， 句式不完整，组织思想和搜寻词语时频繁出现较长时间的停顿，几乎无法理解，不能完成对话任务。

Passage 1
The traditional American family is a "nuclear family." A nuclear family refers to a husband and wife and their children. The average American family today has two or three children (and maybe a few pets). In some cultures, people live close to their extended family. Several generations may even live together. In America, only in a few cases does more than one household live under one roof. American values receive a warm welcome in the home. Many homes are run like a democracy. Each family member can have a say. A sense of equality often exists in American homes. Instead of fearing Mom and Dad, children may think of them as good friends. Husbands and wives often share household chores. In many cases, a child can enjoy privacy in his or her own bedroom. From an early age, children gain responsibility in handling money. They may receive a weekly allowance or even work part-time jobs. Often parents give children freedom to make their own decisions. Preschoolers choose what clothes to wear or which toys to buy. Young adults generally make their own choices about what career to pursue and whom to marry.
Passage 2
Some people seem to think that sports and games are unimportant things that people do at times when they are not working. But in fact sports and games can be of great value, especially to people who work with their brains most of the day. They should not be treated only as amusements. Sports and games build our bodies, prevent us from getting too fat, and keep us healthy. They also give us valuable practice in helping the eyes, brain and muscles to work together. In table tennis, the eyes see the ball coming, judge its speed and direction, and pass the information on to the brain. The brain has to decide what to do and sends its orders to the muscles of the arms legs and so on, so that the bah is met and hit back where the player wants it to do. All this must happen with very great speed, and only those who have had a lot of practice can do this successfully.

Passage 3 Water pollution
Water is very important to us. Factories and plants need water for industrial uses, and large pieces of farmland need it for irrigation. Without water to drink, people die in a short time. Today most water sources are so dirty that people must purify water before drinking. Water becomes dirty in many ways： industrial pollution is one of them. With the development of industry, plants and factories pour tons of industrial wastes into rivers very day. The rivers have become seriously polluted, and the water is becoming unfit for drinking or irrigation. The same thing has also happened to our seas and oceans. So the problem of water pollution is almost worldwide. Scientists of many countries have done a lot of work to stop pollution. The polluted water in some places has become clean and drinkable again. Perhaps one day, the people in all towns and cities will be drinking clean water. That day, we believe, is not very far off.

B: Sounds good, that is fine. But which Sichuan restaurant, do u know?
A: Yeah, I know one close here and it is nice. I had been there for once.
