1. Self-confidence
Currently, self-confidence has been the order of our daily life. This does demon the theory that nothing is more valuable than self-confidence.

There are many factors that can contribute to a person’s success in life. Whether he is at school or at work, a person is more likely to succeed if he is hard-working, honest, intelligent, responsible, and so on. But of all the possible characteristics that can affect one’s success, I believe self-confidence to be the most important for the following reasons.

It’s clear that self-confidence means struts in oneself .If you are full of self-confidence that will bring you creative power to play, arouse your enthusiasm for you work and help you overcome difficulties. As a result, your dreams will come true, On the contrary, if you no self-confidence, there is little possibility that you would achieve anything .Failure will be following with you. It turns out that all your plans fall through. No one can deny another fact that self-confidence gives you light when you are in dark and encouragement when you are disappointed. You don’t have to look very for to find on the truth, In respect that that we all know the secret of somebody’s success lies in self-confidence. It will exert a profound influence upon your achievement of your dreams.

With reference to my stand point I think self-confidence is necessary for everyone. So everyone should find your own self-confidence to struggle for your dream.

2. The popularity of Blog
In recent years, blog has become very popular. More and more people have created their own blogs and often visit others’ blogs. They use blog to collect and share thoughts and things they find interesting. In brief, blog is an online dairy or a frequently updated personal page.

Why does blog become so popular in such a short time? Firstly, it is the widespread of Internet that provides a platform for the appearance and popularity of blog. Secondly, anyone can create this own blog as he wishes. Blog has no fixed rules and needn’t professional knowledge with others. Thirdly, blog covers all kinds of topics world events. Among millions of blogs, you can always find something you are interested in.

However, blog has brought some problems. For one thing, the protection of blog copyright cannot be guaranteed. For another, many blog contents are in a mess, and some even include unhealthy things. Therefore, blog still has a long way to go before it becomes mature,

3. Does e-mail make people get closer or drift apart?
In recent years, e-mail has become very popular. More and more people have created their own e-mail box and often exchange a great variety of information by using e-mails. Some people think that e-mail makes relationships among people closer, while some others think that makes people drift apart.

Those who hold the former opinion insist that the appearance of e-mail makes communication quicker and more convenient. People can deliver more information including pictures and sounds by e-mail. However, some others think e-mail has less emotion, then traditional letters written by hand. Most people use e-mail to deliver information instead of feelings.

From my point of view, e-mail brings great convenience for people, but it is not a better way to express our feeling than traditional letters. Our hand-writing on the paper can deliver much emotion. Therefore, when you want to express your love and care to someone, writing a letter to her or him by hand is a wise choice.

4. Pollution
Currently, environment pollution has become a terrible problem of our society. Because, more and more people who want to make great profit and ignored their duty to protect environment. Environment pollution includes water pollutions, air pollution, voice pollution, light pollution and so on.

Environment pollution is very harmful for our health and it can lead to many kinds of illness. Most pollution belongs to industry pollution. It is necessary to find effective solutions to control the environment problems. On the one hand, all industries should set up air and wastewater management system. On the other hand, modern machine can reduce the consumption of energy should be put into use.

In my point of view, the government should take effective solutions to solve the environment problems. If we pay attention to protecting the environment while we are developing industry, the city can be more and more beautiful. Our life will become much more healthy and beautiful.

5. The advantage of city life
With the development of city, more and more young people want to live in city. They think city life has more advantages than country life and it can be more beneficial to their own development. Why do they think that?

Firstly, the traffic in city is very convenient. People can go to wherever they want to go. Secondly, there are man shops in the city and people can buy any goods to satisfy their requirement. Thirdly, city’s economy is much better than country. So, young people can have more chances to find satisfying jobs and achieve more money. Besides, the education in city is also more advanced than it in country. It’s beneficial for children’s growth.

In my point of view, city life even though has many advantages and also has many disadvantages. Environment pollution is a terrible problem. If we pay attention to protecting the environment while we are developing industry, the city can be more and more beautiful.

6. The influence of TV
Currently, with the development of science and technology, more and more people find themselves exposed to various TV programs. TV is really necessary to people. As a western saying goes, “every coin has two sides”. Watching TV also has both advantages and disadvantages.

Firstly, you can expand your knowledge by watching TV. As we all know, learning things by TV is much faster than by listening to the radio or just by reading books. It provides pictures as well as wonderful music. Secondly you can know any information you want to know. Such as famous singers, super stars, scientists and so on.

The disadvantages of watching TV are obvious. Some TV programs are not very good. For example, they are full of extramarital affairs, and people tend to think that life without extramarital affaires is not a normal life. Some TV programs bring spiritual contamination. Rude scenes appear on the TV screen. At the sight of them, people will feel uncomfortable. Thus, people’s daily life is affected by the negative TV programs.

In my point of view, just as every thing has two sides, TV has advantages and disadvantages. I think that if we can overcome its negative effects, we can bring it into a full play.
