雅思口语话题遗忘Describe a time you forgot something important. You should say: what it was when you forgot it what was the consequence and explain why it was important to you. Generally I have a very good memory, you might even call it photographic. Im very good at remembering random facts, so Im a useful person to have around at a pub quiz. However, once in a while my memory can let me down and one of the most important times was when I forgot my girlfriends birthday. It was a few years ago, when we were both at university. I woke up one morning and sent her a message, as usual, but she didnt reply. I kept trying to contact her again and again, but she still wouldnt respond. I began to get worried, so I went to where she was staying and her friends told me she didnt want to see me. Suddenly it hit me! It had completely slipped my mind that it was her birthday. We had only been going out for a few months and we were both busy with our studies so I guess it just hadnt really occurred to me. Needless to say she was not a happy bunny. I went out and bought her a big bunch of flowers and some chocolates and begged her to forgive me. I was in the dog house for a few days, but eventually the dust settled and things got back to normal. In the grand scheme of things it wasnt very important, we were both young and in the early stages of our relationship. But it meant a lot to my girlfriend and the whole incident made me more diligent when it comes to our relationship. Ive certainly never forgotten a birthday since! 2雅思口语匆忙随时话题 1. When was the last time you did something in a hurry? Do you have a favourite teacher? Um Yeah, I suppose I do, but its actually kind of hard to pick out a favourite because Ive been really lucky with all my teachers. I mean, the amount of effort she put into her teaching, and her attention to detail, were just amazing. And not only that, but she also showed a genuine care for all of us, which left a really deep impression on me. You know, they genuinely want their students to learn and develop. Its not just simply a job to them.
