Do you have a favorite teacher?
Yes, absolutely. My favorite teacher is my head teacher when I was in junior three. Before she became the head teacher of my class, my grades were about average and I barely had no any confidence. But she helped me build up my confidence and became one of the top students in my school.
In your opinion, what makes a good teacher?
Well the first thing would be patience, no matter how good or bad the students perform. For me, being given encouragement and validation are so important that how well a teacher can teach seems not that crucial.
Do you want to work as a teacher in the future?
According to what Ive just said, my answer would be no. I know that Im not patient enough, on the contrary, Im irritable. Im afraid that if I were a teacher, I would not be able to give positive feedbacks to my students all the time.
Have you ever had a bad teacher?
Luckily, Ive never met a teacher who is "bad'. Some of my teachers might not be so kind, or cannot teach very well, though. But they try their best to work well and help their students to do better from their hearts. Im grateful to all of my teachers.

1. Do you often look in the mirror?

I certainly do. I think its important for most people nowadays to be able to keep track of time because we are living in a such a fast paced world where, the faster you are at doing things, the more likely you are to be successful.

2.Can you describe yourself as a punctual person?

Well, at least I always try to be on time. But you know, living in a city where traffic jam is an unavoidable part of the daily life makes it difficult to be a punctual person. I wouldnt want to use it as an excuse so I tend to set out earlier when I go to an appointment just in case.
3.Do you wear a watch?

I like wearing watches and I used to wear them. However, with changing times, I have stopped wearing one.
4.Do you think it is important for an individual to be on time?

I think it is quite of a relative question. So, it mostly depends on the situation. For example, if an individual is late for a meeting or a flight, the person is going to loose lot of things. However, for places like parties or travelling, being very time bound takes a lot of fun out of vacations. Also, if you know someone is waiting for you, one must try to be on time.
5.How do you feel when others are late?

If my entire plan depends on that person, I really dont like people getting late. Also, being late does not mean skipping five or ten minutes, but beyond that, it really becomes annoying. Specially, in places like movies or a game, where you miss a part of it, if your partner is late. But, for the most part, if I have to not wait for a very long time, I dont mind too much on people being late.
6.How often are you late?

For most part, I try to be on time, but surely I am not one of those who follow the dot rule. So, being on time for things like meeting up with friends I can be late by five or ten minutes. But, in formal situations like meetings or for flights, I am punctual enough not to cause any trouble.

Do you prefer to study in a quiet environment or an environment with some sounds?
Well, I guess on the whole I prefer to study in a quiet environment, the main reason being that I find it easier to concentrate, because noises or sounds tend to distract me. So in other words, I tend to get more work done when I cant hear anything around me. But saying that, I do occasionally like to listen to some music while Im studying, because it can make it a little bit more enjoyable.

Yeah, I guess Im quite lucky in this respect, because theres a pretty big library on our campus with loads of desks for studying, and Im always able to get quite a lot of work done there, as its really nice and quiet.

What natural sound do you like the most?
Thats an interesting question, and Im not really that sure to be honest with you, but I guess I would probably say the natural sound I like most is that of waves hitting the seashore, because its just really soothing, if you know what I mean. And its a sound I only really get to hear when Im on holiday, so I also probably associate it with being on holiday, which would be another reason why I like it so much!

Yeah, for sure! I mean, firstly, I really cant stand the sound of drilling, simply because its just such a loud and unpleasant noise, so that would definitely be at the top of my list. And I guess the next one would be the sound of cars hooting, mainly because I hear it all the time where I live, and so it gets quite irritating after a while, especially when Im trying to concentrate on something.

Yeah, for sure, especially when Im trying to get to sleep, you know, if theres a dog barking or something, it can really be quite maddening, but during the day Id say I can put up with pretty much most noise, unless, of course, the noise is really loud and relentless, like if theres construction or renovation work going on around me.

Thats a hard question, and Im really not that sure to be honest with you, but I guess my feeling would be that they probably will get noisier, yeah, basically because if you compare the situation in cities now to what it was like 10 or 15 years ago, then its obvious that cities have got a lot noisier, mainly, of course, due to the increase in traffic on the roads. So unless something changes, I would say that this trend is likely to continue into the future, unfortunately.
