1. bend vt., vi. (bent, bending)

3. expect vt. expect (sb.) to do sth.
1) 预料;预期
I expect he'll pass the examination. 我预料她会通过考试。
The chairman of the committee expect to be back next Thursday.

4. upset (upset, upsetting)
