1.热身导入:师生问候，动画视频导入新课。
T: Hello，boys and girls.
Do you like reading books?
S: Yes.
T: I like reading books, too. I read a book about Konan. Do you know Konan?
S: Yes.
T: Let’s watch a video about Konan.
2.初听课文，整体感知课文，并回答一级问题。
（1）Did Liu Gang read some books?
（2）Did Liu Gang spend the whole vacation in the library?
3.再听课文，回答二级问题。
（1）How did Liu Gang spend his vacation?
（2）What kinds of books did Liu Gang read?
4.学生自读课文，初步理解课文大意，划出新单词spend read ——read detective (ppt)
(1) 找三名学生分别汇报三个新单词。
(2) 教师点拨新单词发音及难点。
(3) 开火车游戏操练新单词。
(4) 教师领读新单词，进行纠音。
5.新句型：
（1）教师与学生会话引出句型How did you spend your vacation ? I read some books.(ppt)
（2）教师借助课件图片示范对话。
（3）找三组学生对话操练主句型。
（4）根据主句型进行一个小调查。
