unit 7   how much are these socks? period one 教学设计 teaching aims: knowledge aims: learn the new words:how much, sock, t-shirt, shorts, sweater, trousers, shoe, skirt, dollar, grasp the target language: how much is…? it’s …dollars. how much are…? they are…dollars/yuan. ability aims:      help students to ask about prices and talk about clothing by using target language: how much is this sweater?  it’s seven dollars. how much are these socks?  they’re three yuan. moral aims:   help students communicate with others and know others more and get students form a good habit about shopping. teaching key and difficult points: the sentences with “how much” : how much is this hat? it’s three dollars. how much are these trousers? they are five dollars. teaching methods: task-based teaching method,situational teaching method. teaching tools: a recoder, powerpoint and some things about clothings. teaching procedures:   step one: greet the whole class as usual.   step two: warm up and lead in          ask students to preview the new words of this lesson. revise the knowledge we’ve learned before : do you have a basketball? do you like bananas?  step three: presentation    task one: introduce the topic of this lesson first: talk about clothing. learn the new words about clothing and play a guessing game to check whether students grasp the new words. the students will be divided into several groups and each group should work together to finish an interesting game. the group who answers the most items will be the winner and get related gifts. task two:ask students to look at the picture in 1a and match the words with the things in the picture. check answers with students. task three:pair-work introduce the differences between rmb and dallars. show some colorful pictures to introduce the target languge about asking prices: how much is this t-shirt? it’s seven dollars. how much are these socks? they’re two dollars. then ask students to practice the target language with their partners. finnally, invite several pairs to show their dialoges. task four: play the tape in 1b and circle the things you hear in 1a,then check answers with students. play the tape for the second time to make sure students understand the content of the listening material. task five:play a guessing game to active the atmosphere of the class and revise the target language. step three: have a summary    how much is + 单数可数名词?   it’s 7 dollars. how much are + 复数可数名词?  they’re 12 dollars. step four: do some exercises 1.how much is your   ____?(帽子) 2.how much are these  _____?(袜子) 3.do you like that ______  ?(裙子) 4._____ _____ (多少钱)are these trousers ? 5.this sweater is very nice. it is five_______(美元). 6.how much ____(is,are)his shoes? 7.how much ____ (is,are)these socks? 8.how much _____(is,are)this t-shirt? blackboard design: how much are these socks? socks                      how much is this t-shirt? t-shirt                      it’s seven dollars. shorts                      how much are these socks? sweater                    they’re two dollars. trousers shoes skirt 教学反思: 本节课属于听说课,主要是提高学生的听力和口语能力。由于词汇 比较多,故我采取图片加游戏的方法帮助学生学习单词。部分同学 学习时能够迅速的掌握,但仍然有很多同学需要课后另加学习。在 绍目标语言时,由于知识既简单又复杂,有学生仍然搞不清楚问价 时单数和复数应该如何区分,这将在今后的几节课中再次反复强调 以帮助他们理解消化。在小组活动时,很多同学表现很好,能够积 参与,课堂氛围比较好。但是也有部分同学不敢开口讲英语,今后 教学还应该注重鼓励学生开口讲英语。
