九年级Unit11 SectionA3a-3c教学案例与反思
今天有和学生度过了快乐的40分钟,上课内容是九年级Unit11SectionA3a-3c。
我提前两分钟到教室,第一环节,我课前首先播放了歌曲 If you are happy.., 让学生热身,
第二环节用的是师生自由交谈法导入,我面带微笑对学生说T: Are you happy? 学生学生Yes, No的都有,我接着边说边出示图片,T: Today I’ll take you to meet three of my friends. The first one is the prime minister (图片)of the UK. He has a lot of power, but he is not happy. He is always worried about losing his power. The second one is a banker (图片). He has a lot of wealth, but he is not happy, either. He is always worried about losing his money. The third one is Jackie Chan, a famous singer (图片). He has a good fame, but he is not happy, either. He is always worried about being followed by others.
This is me (QQ截图). Am I happy? Yes,My name is healthy&happy(QQ名)! Although I have neither a lot of power nor a lot of wealth, I am happy every day. Because I have a happy family and a lot of happy students like you. Now the happy teacher, I, will tell you a story about an unhappy king. (出示国王图片, 根据扑克牌补充queen), 这样很自然的导入了大部分新单词,也为阅读做了很好的铺垫。也很自然的进入第二环节—读中活动。
读中活动第一步是Skimming 让学生对文章有个大体了解。 T: Now Please read the passage quickly and answer the question. “What’s the main idea of the passage?” 第二步是Scanning , 首先细读3a第一、二自然段,回答下面的问题:(1)What happened to the king?(2)Can medicine help the king? Why or why not? 接着细读3a第三、四、五自然段,回答下面的问题:(1)Why does power not make the prime minister happy?(2)Why does money not make the banker happy?( 3)Why does fame not make the singer happy? 分段阅读的好处是消除学生阅读恐惧和厌烦感,短一点更有兴趣读,目的性更强。读中活动的第三步是再次细读完成表格,更好地理清文章脉络。整个读中活动由有整体到段落,再到整体。
第四环节读后活动,读后环节包括三部分。首先是完成3b Find words or phrases from the story with meanings similar to these phrases.接着是3c Role-play the story with your group.分组让学生扮演角色、有感情朗读下列句子。
King: I’m unhappy. I sleep badly and don’t feel like eating.
Doctor: It’s all in his mind. Neither medicine nor rest can help him. What he needs is the shirt of a happy person to wear. That’ll make him happy.
Prime Minister: Although I have a lot of power, it doesn’t make me happy. I’m always worried about losing my power. Many people are trying to take my position.
Banker: Oh, I’m afraid I’m not happy either, I have a lot of wealth, but I’m always worried about losing my money. Someone tries to steal my money every day.
Singer: It’s true that I’m famous and everyone loves my songs. But I’m not happy because I’m always worried about being followed by others. I cannot be free!
第三步是学生分组讨论短文重要的短语、句式,并造句,然后展示,其他学生点评、补充。原本好安排了一些巩固练习,由于下课时间到了,只能留个学生课后完成。但我还是对本课做了小结。最后问学生,Are you happy this class? 学生几乎异口同声说:Yes!就这样师生在愉快的氛围中结束了这节课。
这节课的导入环节还是相当的好,各环节也是环环相扣,实效性好,学生学得轻松愉快,同时也不知不觉地进行了思想教育。不过在要学生找出the main 时,如果能够以选择题出现会更好,这样可以降低难度,在学生找出短语、句式造句如果有更多么时间的话效果会更好。
