Pre-listening activities (TPR) While-listening activities Post-listening activities Topic: Food. 1. Point to and read each word aloud. Students only listen. 2. Teacher reads each word aloud, students point. 3. Teacher reads each word aloud, and pause for students to repeat. 4. Some students read each word aloud and the other students point. Then exchange the roles. 1. Play the recording for the first time. Students listen and circle the words they hear. 2. Play the recording for the second time, students look at the illustration and fill in the missing world. 3. Check the answers. 1. Ask students to name some food that they like and some they don’t like. 2. Say the conversation in speck bubbles. 3. Students then practice the conversations in pairs substituting words that are true for them. 4. Inspire the students to think about health diet.
