Unit 1.Good friends (Part A)
教学目标:Learn the phrases in Part A.
教学重点:Learn the phrases: fish, Xili Lake, play the piano, Children’s Palace, play chess, my friend’s home, shop, the shopping mall, have a picnic, the park, listen to CDs, my home
教学难点: Read and write the phrases correctly.
教具: a recorder, picture, word cards and PPT
教时 : 1 periods
教学过程:
1. Organization: Warming up exercises: Duty report and free talk.
2.Revision
Ask some questions:
a. What do you usually do after school?
b. Do you usually go to play badminton?
3. Presentation:
a. Bring in some pictures, chess, some shopping bags, a workman,
Learn the new words: fish, play the piano, play chess, shop, have a picnic, listen to CDs
b. Point to the picture in the PB and present the dialogue in Part A using a puppet.
c. Ask the pupils What are you going to do? Using the new phrases on the board. Write some of the times on the board.
4, Consolidation:
a. Read part A after the tape.
b. Spell the words one by one. Pay attention to these:
shop-shopping Children’s Palace
c. Show Transparency. Play the Pupil’s Book Cassette and point to the speech bubbles. Ask the pupils to repeat after the cassette.
d. Ask the pupils: What are you going to do?
e. Talk in pairs.
5. Summing up:
We’ve learnt the phrases in Part A. Read the new words together. Have you any questions?
6. Homework:
a. Read Part A after the tape.
b. Copy the new words and talk in pairs using the phrases correctly.
7. Write on the board:
Unit 1 Good friends

教学后记: Most pupils can read the phrases, but some of them can’t pronounce the new words correctly.
