(Ⅰ)
Having a happier life is something we all always struggle for. One of the key foundations of
that is to be consistent in doing things that bring happiness. 1 Consider these 4 habits:
1. Laugh in the middle of a busy day.
It’s 3 pm on a Sunday afternoon and you’re desperate to leave, for school. On top of the homework, you’re running close to super important deadline. 2 Just take a moment to laugh. You should laugh more often, especially on a busy day.
2. Do not compare yourself to others.
Measure your own successes based on your progress and only yours. 3 No one is better than any one else.
3. Find time to work out regularly and eat well.
Exercise can produce tons of feel-good hormones(荷尔蒙). 4 Feeding your body with whole and nutritious foods, on the other hand, can positively affect your body in both short and long term. Find time to schedule in a workout even if it’s only thirty minutes and do something you love. Eat well because foods can help you stay focused and more energized, and happier as a whole.
4. End each day with gratitude.
5 It might be something as small as a child’s laugh or something as huge as a praise from the headmaster. Whatever it is, be grateful for that day because it will never come again.

B. Surround you with people who matter.
C. Don’t blame everything not going your way.
D. Try to think you are better than anyone else.
E. Develop right habits to ensure we live a happy life.

To be confident
Confidence of success is almost success. Here’s how to believe in yourself.
but nearly every person has struggled with his or her self-confidence at one point. 6.
Accept compliment(恭维;敬意) politely. When someone compliments you, make eye contact, smile, and say “thank you”. It shows that you’re polite and have a secure sense of self-worth. If you’re still uncomfortable taking compliments, try giving one back after you’ve accepted one. 7.
8. That’s a simple and an effective psychological technique to become confident. When you are talking louder you are sending the signal that you are confident, and as you make it as a habit you will feel more confident. But don’t be dominating(专横的).
Look the part. Or, as the saying goes, “Fake it till you make it.” 9. Devote a little time each day to make sure you’re presenting yourself well. Keep your shoulders back, walk with purpose instead of dragging your feet, and sit up straight. Smile and make eye contact. It’s a small change, but it can work wonders on what other people think of you.
Develop your interests. If there’s a sport or hobby you’ve always wanted to be good at, now’s the time! Improving your skills will show that you are talented, and make you confident. Learn a musical instrument or a foreign language; take up an art form like painting----whatever it is that catches your interest. 10. Remember that learning is a process, and you’re in it for the small victories and the relaxing time, not to be the best ever.

We spend so much time waiting to be loved, hoping love will find us, and looking for that special love.Unfortunately, that’s not usually how life works. To be loved, you should love and respect yourself as much as you do others. In order to love someone, you should love yourself.
●Stop comparing yourself to others.11 We all have different gifts.When you compare yourself to others for what they have, whether it is a car, a house, or a job, it makes you feel bad about yourself. Really be grateful about everything you have. Gratitude keeps your heart open to love.
●Practice receiving love. To truly love is to be able to receive it. When someone loves you, does some kind deeds to you, or says kind words, accept it 12. .Know that you are worthy of love. It is important to accept a gift of love by others. You give yourself a chance to learn more about yourself that you are lovable.13
●14. .Write about your experiences, good and bad. When you write down good experiences, allow yourself to feel those feelings. When you remember bad experiences, allow yourself to feel self-compassion. Compassion is not self-pity, but rather willingness to accept one's own pain and regret.
●Stop trying to be perfect. Stop blaming yourself for being less than perfect.15 Just follow all the steps above and don't let anyone's expectations of you put any pressure on you.

Roger Sperry and Robert Ornstein of the California Institute of Technology, Nobel prize winners, discovered that the human brain has two sides, and each side has different work to do.
The left side of the brain controls language and number and it analyses and reasons. 16.____ It controls our appreciation of music and our sense of rhythm. It is also the right side of our brain which daydreams.
Leonardo da Vinci was the great painter and sculptor. He was also an architect, a scientist and an inventor! 17._____ When he invented machines he used both his imaginative ability and his analytical ability.
18.____ Albert Einstein enjoyed art, playing the violin and sailing. Indeed, Einstein said his scientific discoveries grew from his imagination rather than from analysis, reason and language. He said that written and spoken words were not important in his thinking. The story goes that Einstein was daydreaming one summer's day while sitting on a hill. He imagined that he was riding on sunbeams to the far distance of the universe. Then he found that he had returned to the sun. So he realized that the universe must curve(弯曲). 19.____ He then used the left side of his brain to apply analysis, number and reason. And finally he used language to explain it.
Traditional education in schools encourages us to use the left side of our brains. Language, number, analysis and reason are given more importance in our schools than imagination and daydreaming. Why don' t we give more value to visual thinking? Why jump on one foot if we have two perfectly good legs !

No matter how old you are, your mom will always remain as one of the most important people in your life. Maybe you don't know how to express your appreciation and love to her on an ordinary day. 21. Here are several things we can do this Mother's Day to show how much we appreciate and care for our mothers.
Give her flowers. 22. You can show your love to your mom by giving her flowers that match her personality. Or, if you do not know your mom's favorite, carnations(康乃馨) could be your best choice.
Cook for her. Mothers usually are the ones who cook for us. Your mom will absolutely love it if you surprise her by taking over the kitchen and cooking something for her. Just make sure you clean up afterwards.
23. You can just do so describing how much your mother means to you. It can be very effective that your mom will keep them and always be reminded of how important she is to your lives as a family member.
Travel with her. Mothers work hard, so traveling can help her to relax and forget her problems. She will treasure the moment — wherever you go, just your presence. 24.
Take her to a spa. Massages or spas(按摩保健) are for moms of all ages, and she will enjoy breaking the boredom of staying indoors the whole day. 25..

When we’re young children, many of us seem to have little trouble making new friends. 26. .As adults, we tend to become more guarded with new people and have less time to devote to friendships. Consequently, most of us find it much harder to make new friends. If you’ve never experienced a close friendship, even as a child, you may find it even harder. But we all need and want good friends, even those of us who may sometimes pretend otherwise.
The need for friends is instinctual (本能的). Our survival used to depend on having friends to hunt and find food with, to help us build shelter and keep our families safe. 27. They add meaning to life. They help you enjoy the good times and overcome the difficult ones. While strong relationships with friends can be a huge source of fun and pleasure, they are also important for your physical and emotional health.

31. Do not hide things from them, do not lie. Don ' t be afraid to say things that isn't very flattering about yourself. Getting them to trust you is the most important element in any relationship. If there ' s no trust, there ' s nothing there. So please be honest and they'll learn to . open up to you.
Make sure you give them respect. Now respect isn't just simply treating her or him nicely. There' s a lot more to it. You have to learn to adjust to their liking. 32. Don ' t just think about yourself ,think about what your partner needs out of it as well.
33. Always be willing to help them and give them honesty and positivity at the same time. Make them feel you are someone they can really count on and build a future with. This is an important step in a relationship. Your partner has to be able to count on you when needed.
Make sure you have a good sense of humor with them. Laughter is the key to happiness. Laugh a lot with them ,joke with them. Laughter may seem silly ,but it' s the secret to a lot in life. It will keep the sparks alive. 34.
Make sure the communication is good. This goes along with trust, but always communicate how you feel, even if it ' s something that upsets you. Instead of screaming, talk to them. 35. It ' s important to communicate this to them , not keep it bottled up.
