Unit 3 Language in use
典案一 教学设计
Step 1 Lead in
Ask the students to make a short dialogue to practise using superlative adjectives and adverbs with their partners.
(详见素材一导入二)
Step 2 Grammar
1.Work in groups. Ask the students to finish some exercises about grammar, then discuss the answers in groups. Write each group's answer on the blackboard. The group whose answers are all right will get red flowers.
2.After the competition, choose two students from each group to act out the dialogue in Activity 2 and Activity 3 in front of the class.

Step 3 Vocabulary
1.Ask the students to finish the word map in Activity 4, then show their work to their partners.
2.Go through the words in the box in Activity 6.Ask the students to read the email fast and find the answers to three questions. (详见素材三突破一)
Step 4 Listening
1.Play the tape and ask the students to match the cities with the information. (Activity 7)
2.Ask the students to read the questions first and check if they understand the meanings of the questions. Then play the tape and let the students answer the questions. (Activity 8)
Step 5 Around the world
1.Ask the students to look at the photo and say what the
y can see.
2.Let the students look up some information about the railway on the Internet and show it to the whole class. (详见素材三突破二)
Step 6 Group work
1.Divide the students into groups of 5 and ask them to choose a city to visit and look up some information about this city on the Internet and take notes.
2.Ask the students to use the notes to compare different plans, and decide which one is the best.

Step 7 Homework
1.背诵本模块的重点单词和短语。
2.分别运用形容词的最高级与副词的最高级各造3个句子。
