Subject-Verb Agreement
for Senior School students
Teaching Aims: 1.Enable the students to grasp some knowledge of Subject-Verb Agreement by learning the three basic principles of Subject-Verb Agreement.

Teaching Facility: A courseware, a computer and a multimedia classroom.
Teaching Procedures:
Step I Lead-in
The teacher operates the courseware and plays a foreign song in the courseware to absorb the students’ attention. Then the teacher press the chalk on the screen to show the menu for the beginning of the study..
Step II Knowledge Structure
1. 概念:英语句子中主语和谓语是句子的两个主要部分,谓语受主语支配,因此谓语必须和主语在人称和数上保持
一致性。

Step III Further Study of the Three Basic Principles

Step III Analysis of Some Classical Examples
Firstly, the teacher asks the students to try the examples on the screen themselves. Secondly, the teacher checks the answers for the students. The teacher analyses the examples for the students at last.
Step IV Consolidation
The teacher asks the students to do the exercises and then checks the answers for them.
