A: of course in my dream. what a nightmare! B: u did scare me just now. A:昨天晚上,我被长着绿眼睛的外星人绑架了。 B:不可能!你在开玩笑吧。 A:当然是在梦里啦。真是恶梦一场啊! B:你刚刚真的吓了我一跳。 Example2: A: it happened on a winter night. i lived on the ranch , which was suspected to be haunted by ghosts. i was reading a book in front of a window. suddenly, a bunch of white-light… B: oops! that’s spooky! stop telling me the story, plz. (4)   isn’t that something! u surprised me! 怎么会那样?!你让我大吃一惊! (5)   oh dear! it’s amazing that u seem to know everything!  天哪!你好像什么都知道。太让人惊讶了! (6)   oh, my goodness! it’s unbelievable! 噢,天啊!真是难以置信! (7)   oh, no! is it true? 噢,不!是真的吗? (8)   oops! it’s incredible 啊呀!真是难以置信! (9)   i’m sure u will be astonished by what u will find. (10)  to tell u the truth, i was greatly surprised by the news u told me. 说实话,你告诉我的消息让我大吃了一惊。 Example1: A: can u imagine what he gave me? B: what did u get? A: it’s unbelievable! he gave me a love letter. it was the first love letter i’d ever received. B: it’s really amazing! u told me he was very shy. A:你能想像得出他给我的是什么吗? B:你得到什么了? A:真的吗?我希望自己能像她那样优雅。 满意与否 Satisfaction or Dissatisfaction 1. 满意Satisfaction (1)   i’m quite satisfied with what u have done. 我对你所做的非常满意。 (2)   i fell very pleased with the final result. 我对最后的结果很满意。 (3)   my boss used to be happy with our work.过去老板对我们的工作很满意。 (4)   to my satisfaction, i finally got what i want after all the efforts. 让我满意的是,在经过了所有的努力之后,我终于得到了我想要的。 (5)   i belong to those who is content with very little. 我属于那种非常容易满足的人。 2. 不满意Dissatisfaction (1)   it seems that u r not pleased with the gift ur friend sent u.好像你对朋友送给你的礼物不满意。 (2)    my boss was not at all happy with my plan. 老板对我的计划一点儿也不满意。 (3)    i’m not satisfied with the computer i’m using now, because it is second-hand.我不是很满意目前正在用的这台电脑,因为这是二手货。 (4)   during that time, nothing contented me, and i was always complaining.在那段时间,什么都不能使我感到满意,我总是在抱怨。 (5)   i should never be content with such a small success. 我永远都不应该为这么一个小小的成功感到满足。 Example1: A: do u wanna have plastic surgery? for example, u can have a nose job. (3)   i’m tired to death. 我累得要死。 (4)   u must be tired after chatting for a long time? 长时间聊天后你肯定很疲倦了。 (5)   i’m exhausted. 我精疲力竭了。 (6)   i’m tired out.. 我累坏了。 (7)   i’m worn out. 我累坏了。 (8)   i’m wiped out.. 我累坏了。 (9)   i’m beat. 我累坏了。 (10)  this is really a weary. day. 这真是累人的一天。 Example1: A:  |-()  B: r u sleepy? A: yes, i’m deadly sleepy now. B: why? chatting with me is boring? A: no, i didn’t sleep enough last night. i stayed up very late to finish that project. B: well, you’d better go to sleep and have a good rest. A: ok, bye. A: (这是一个表示打呵欠的表情符号) B:你困了? A:是的,我现在困得不得了。 B:为什么呀?跟我聊天很乏味? A:是的。我已经下定决心了。如果老板再叫我加班我就辞职不干了。   忍气吞声 Tolerance and Endurance 1. 能忍则忍Tolerance (1)   we have to bear with his bad temper, cuz he is a bit frustrated these days.我们不得不容忍他的坏脾气因为这些日子他有点灰心丧气。 (2)   u have to endure many discomforts during ur journey. 你不得不在旅途中忍受许多不适。 (3)   i have to tolerate my wife, cuz she earns more money than i do. 因为老婆比我挣得多,所以我不得不容忍她。 (4)   he can stand more pain than anyone else i know. 他比我认识的任何人都更能忍受痛苦。 (5)   as a career woman, i have a lot to put up with. 作为职业妇女,我不得不忍受许多烦恼。 2. 忍无可忍Beyond Tolerance (1)   i can’t resist any more. 我再也不能忍受了! (2)   i can’t resist the temptation of the delicious food. i’ll stop dieting. 我忍受不了美食的诱惑了。我要停止节食了。 (3)   in the end, i could not bear it. 最后,我终于受不了啦。 (4)   i cannot stand waiting any longer. 再等下去我可受不了啦。 (5)   i can’t put up with his hypocrisy any more. 我再也不能容忍他的虚伪了。 Example1: A: sometimes, i just can’t resist the temptation to go online while i am working. B:他给我的待遇很优厚啊。 生气愤怒 Anger and Rage (1)   u r getting on my nerves. 你激怒我了。 (2)   shut up! u r jumping on my back! 住口!你激怒我了。 (3)   i’m angry with myself for having made such a foolish mistake. 我因为犯了一个如此愚蠢的错误而生自己的气。 (4)   u should not angry at/for trifling things. 你不应该为了小事生气。 (5)   we often do things in anger that we r sorry for afterwards. 我们在气愤时往往做出事后令我们后悔的事。 (6)   don’t be angry with me. i’ll never ask u such questions. 别生我气了。我以后再也不问那样的问题了。 (7)   ur absent-mindedness makes me mad. 你的心不在焉让我很生气。 (8)   don’t get mad at me! i take back what i said. 别生气了。我收回刚才说的话。 (9)   what u said really drives me mad. 你所说的真的让我很生气。 (10)  when i do lose my temper, it’s usually with good reason, but the steam blows off shortly. 当我真的发脾气的时候,总是有很好的原因,而且我的气很快就消了。 Example1: A: don’t ask such silly questions again. u r starting to get on my nerves. (6)   i hate washing dishes, and that’s why i often eat outside. 我讨厌洗碗,这就是为什么我经常在外边吃的原因。 (7)   i feel like vomiting after hearing ur story. 听了你讲的故事我真的想呕吐了。 (8)   that movie was a turn-off. 那部电影真是让我倒尽胃口。 (9)   listening to her and seeing the way of her talking with men really turns my stomach. 听她讲话,看她和男人讲话的那股劲头真让我恶心。 (10) His flattery makes me sick. 他的恭维让我恶心。 Example1: A: i felt a strong dislike of the new colleague.
