The thing I like most
The thing I like most is a doll. It is a dog with big black eyes and white curly fur. I got it from my aunt on my 5th birthday. Since then it is always on my bed and I can’t go to sleep without kissing it and saying “good night”. When I go to a boarding school, I take it with me. My roommates used to laugh at me about it, but I still keep it beside my pillow. I love it so much because it gives me comfort whenever I feel down.

My Hobby
Each of us may have one or more hobbies. I enjoy reading books very much, because there are lots of interesting things in them.
When I was very young, I didn’t think reading books was interesting, because I found nothing more interesting than computer games. But two years ago, I received a book as a birthday gift. It is a book about the wild live in the world. I was so attracted by the animals that I didn’t want to put it down. Since then I have been fond of reading books.
By now, I have read dozens of books. They bring me much knowledge and fun. I will keep on this hobby forever.

It’s important to be honest in life
I think honesty is an important part of life.
Let’s begin with personal relationships. Lack of honesty leads to all kinds of problems. For example, if you lie to your friends, you would have to work hard to win back their trust. And if you can’t depend on them to tell you the truth, then your friendship is unlikely to last.
Honesty at work is just as important. A person who doesn’t value honesty is a bad colleague. Most people work in teams and if you cannot trust a colleague, the team will break down.
In sum, it is my belief that honesty in our lives is very important. Without it, our lives would become extremely unpleasant.

I prefer homework that is open, such as reading books outside class, doing surveys and volunteering.
One day before the Tree Planting Day this year, my biology teacher gave each team of my class an interesting task. She asked us to do a survey about the trees planted in our community. We had to find out how many trees there were in each part and where more trees needed to be planted. My teammates and I walked through the whole area, counting and taking notes. Finally, we finished the report and got highly praised. In my opinion, the homework which is open can give me more chances to express my ideas. What’s more, I can learn different skills more than just copying and memorizing while I’m doing it.

My Plans for the Senior High School
I am a student in junior school. I will share what I did in the past three years and the plan of the coming term with you.
In the second year, I improved my English that I hadn’t been good at. At the same time, I won the first prize in the Chinese speech contest. My parents are proud of my achievements. I also feel satisfied with my study. I believe that if you study hard, you will succeed, too.
I make a plan for the life of senior high school. First, I want to take exercise to keep healthy every morning. Second, I will study harder. Third, I would like to take part in some after-class activities to make my life colorful. Finally, I will try my best to help my parents with the housework.
All in all, I hope I will be a good student.
