I know your feelings
Living in the most beautiful planet in the universe, I'm always impressed by the great work the nature has done. Birds are joyously flittering around, singing. Flowers in splendorous full bloom decorate the landscape. The breeze is flirting with my long, black hair. Even though I still think what we can do to make the world more beautiful. I keep finding the “what”…
I am perceived as a “fun apple”—wherever I am, laughter and happiness fill the air. Every little wrong emotion of those I care about scarcely escapes me; at this point I’ll cheer them up and keep company with them whenever they need me, which I believe can make the world more beautiful.
Imagine yourself a third-year high school student, facing the University Entrance Examination. As a top student in my class, I was the person who others would turn to. “Oh, my gosh! I hate the math examination. I hate the UEE! ” This was what my deskmate Lucy cried when she got into trouble in math exams. I would keep her company and help her correct mistakes in the paper. I would pick up some exercises according to her weakness, and help her with the questions she couldn’t answer. At the same time, we went for walks and had heart-to-heart conversations to give her the courage to feel confident. Eventually, with my help, she got a good grade in UEE.
Besides, one thing makes me find the “what” finally.
Little Yueyue is a 3-year-old girl who was hit by a speeding car in the market last year in Foshan city. However, what makes me angry is she had been lying on the ground for several minutes without being saved. I don’t understand why the hard-hearted a driver did not stop and take her to the hospital; why people passing by didn’t give a hand to the dying little girl. Pretended she were the daughter of one of those people, would they look at her differently? I think they wouldn’t. However, when the unfortunate happens to others, they lose their love and empathy. How strong is the power of empathy? If someone would have called the police or taken her to the hospital earlier, maybe the life of that little girl could have been saved. The power of empathy can bring one back to life.
Surrounded by thousands of stars, clear air, and spectacular mountains, I stood under the pure sky, awestruck by nature's beauty. Immediately, I realized it is the power of empathy, one of the loves that makes the world more beautiful. As human beings, we should always put ourselves in each other's shoes, show consideration for others, and give them our hands in time of need. I must dedicate my life to understanding my beloved people and the world around me. Give out every love without stint; let those who need to be understood know “I know your feelings; and I will always be with you.”
