教学步骤
Step 1 呈现
１．教师用多媒体向学生呈现第一张幻灯片并说：Today we are lucky enough to choose any TV channel we like to watch TV programmes. Which channel do you want to watch first?教师根据学生的要求点击不同的频道，呈现不同的电视节目，有：cartoon, comedy, game show, chat show, documentary, drama series。
２．要求学生熟记这些节目类型，并根据所看到的图片用自己的话描述这些电视节目。（每张节目的幻灯片上，节目的英文表达都建立了链接，以便回到最初的幻灯片）
Step 2 练习
１． 教师呈现A部分的图片。告诉学生这些图片分别代表不同的电视节目类型。要求学生独立完成这一部分的练习。
２． 让学生两人一组比较答案，结束后全班核对答案。
３． 教师提问：What types of TV programmes do you like or dislike? Why?请几位学生谈谈。
４． 教师说：Sandy and her friends are talking about different types of TV programmes. Complete their dialogue using the words in Part A.让学生独立完成该练习。
５． 请六位学生分角色朗读该对话并校对答案。
Step 3 活动
１．四人小组编对话，谈论各自对电视节目类型的喜好。鼓励他们使用以下句型：
　What types of TV programmes do you like, …?
I like watching …because…
I prefer…
２．邀请几组学生到讲台上表演他们的对话。
Step 4 呈现
１． 教师呈现三张喜剧片的幻灯片，问：Which comedy do you like best?引出best这个最高级，告诉学生其词性。
２． 教师告知学生，副词的比较级和最高级的构成方式是一样的。要求学生完成表格。
Step 5 练习
１．呈现一张表格，说：Millie made a survey to know what her classmates think of the different drama series. Look at it and answer my questions about the information in the survey.
Among all the drama series, which one has the best story?
Of Friendship and Ken’s story, which one has better actors?
Among the four programmes, which one do Millie’s classmates watch the most regularly?
３． 让学生在对这张表格有所了解的基础上，完成书上的报告，并校对答案。
Step 6 呈现
１． 教师讲解更多有关副词比较级和最高级的用法。
２． 做一些巩固练习。
Step 7 家庭作业
１． 记忆本课所学词汇。
２． 完成练习册上相关练习。
