设计说明
通过听说等活动培养良好的听力习惯，增强听力能力，再通过自主学习和小组合作，学会使用本单元重点句型。
教学目标
1、 知识目标：
（1） 掌握词汇：favorite,subject,science,P.E,music,math,Chinese,geography,history,why.
（2） 掌握句型：---What’s your favorite subject?
---My favorite subject is …
---Why do you like…?
---Because it’s…
2、 能力目标：
（1） 学会使用what,why引导的特殊疑问句，学会使用表示品质的形容词。
（2） 能够运用所学语言谈论自己所喜欢的学科并说明原因。
3、 情感目标：
通过互相谈论喜欢的学科，增进同学间的了解和友谊，了解英语国家学生的学习生活，提高跨文化交际的能力。
重点难点
1、 重点：
（1）、掌握学科名词、表示品质的形容词。
（2）、正确表达自己最喜欢什么学科，并说明原因，学会运用本单元的形容词描述事物。
2、 难点：science、geography、history等学科名词的读音和拼写。
教学过程：
Step 1 Greeting & Warming up
Show the students some pictures about subjects, ask and answer their favorite subjects.
Step 2 Presentation
T: What subjects do we have ?
S:English,Chinese,math…
Then ask the students to work on 1a,match the words with the pictures, check the answers.
Step 3 Listening
1、 Listen and circle the subjects the students hear in 1a.
2、 Check the answers.
3、 Listen again. Write the missing words.
Step 4 Practice
1、 Ask the students to practice the conversation in pairs.
2、 Make new conversations.
Step 5 Listening
1、 Listen and put the conversation in order.
2、 Check the answer.
3、 Read the conversation together.
4、 Explain the descriptions to the class,and then work on 2b, Listen and match.
5、 Check the answers.
Step 6 Pair work
Ask the students to make their conversations using the words in 2b. Work in pairs.
