学情分析
三年级的学生刚接触英语半个学期，学习英语没有太深厚的基础，教学不宜难，要容易理解，更主要的是调动学生学习兴趣，提高自主学习能力。At the zoo第二课时主要学习形容动物的单词，学生们对动物比较感兴趣，我将利用这一点让学生在“乐”中学。
教材分析
《At the zoo》是小学三年级下册的第三单元A部分的内容，这部分主要学习有关的描述性形容词tall，short，fat，thin等，并能将单词运用于实际中，内容和句式都和实际生活息息相关，锻炼学生英语的实际应用能力。
教学目标

2. 听懂句型：look at that... it’s...
3. 听懂含有形容词的几个指令，并按指令做动作

1 热身、复习 (Warm-up)
　　（1）日常口语会话展示。
（2）教师播放歌曲录音，师生边唱边做动作。　
（3）复习上学期所学的动物单词
Teacher:Today,we will learn unit 3 at the zoo.boys and grils ,look at this picture,do you know where is it ?
Student:It’s zoo.
Teacher:Yes,it is zoo,as you can see ,there are many animals at the zoo.do you know what is this?
Student:It’s monkey/pig/elephant/giraffe/dog/panda.
Teacher:Wonderful!Let’s go to the zoo and have a look.do you want to make friends with them?
Student:Yes.
Teacher :Ok !Let’s go!
2 呈现新课 (Presentation)
（1）出示图片，教师说：You will see a beautiful picture. Look at it carefully and tell us: What’s in it?/What is this?
　　教师展示ppt系列动物图片：giraffe, monkey,
　　　（2）继续展示图片：两只长颈鹿，对比他们的大小
　　T: What are they? They are giraffes. Oh, Look! This is very tall. But that is very short. 教师强调tall 和 short，引出单词并教发音。
接着出示猴子图片，比较胖瘦，引出单词fat,thin，教师领读学生跟读学习单词;
　（3）播放Let’s learn 部分的单词录音，学生单词跟读，纠正学生发音。
3 趣味操练 (Practice)
（1） 小组合作team work
小组成员一起学习单词，会读的教不会读的，比一比看哪个组合作得最好，读得最棒。
（2） 小转盘which one is missing？
点名回答：which one is missing？再一次整体带读。
（3）let’s do 部分内容
①听录音，边听边做动作。两遍至三遍。
②谁是奥斯卡小明星who is Oscar star？
老师发指令，哪个组表演得最好，哪个组就是奥斯卡小明星组。
也可以叫学生尝试着发指令。
4 巩固 consolidation
（1） 熟悉句型：look at that。。。 it’s。。。
（2） 练习题
