Lesson 15 A Present for Li Ming
【教学目标】
1.能够掌握课标要求的“四会”词汇:size,fit,anyway
2.了解如何用英语介绍购买礼物的情况。
3.介绍自己购买礼物的过程。
【教学重难点】
1.掌握一些与购买礼物有关的重点词汇:size,try,fit,like,want
2.激发学生兴趣,让学生运用所学知识介绍自己购买礼物的情况。
3.掌握以下重点句子:
①What size does your friend wear?
②I think he’s the same size as Brian.
③He tries on the jacket.
④Do you have any other styles?

一、创设情境,切入主题
Step 1 Lead-in
Lead in by showing some pictures of buying presents.Let the students check in groups and ask questions about the subjects.Then present some in front of the class.
Questions:What present do you want to buy?Why do you buy it?
二、展开过程,探究新知
Step 2 Listening
Listen to the tape and know about the main points of the dialogue.At the same time,fill in the blanks with the words you hear.
1.Jenny is looking for a________for Li Ming.
2.Brian tries on a jacket,but it is too________.
3.________is Li Ming’s favourite colour.
Finish the task in class in oral.
Step 3 Reading
Read the dialogue and answer the following questions:
Where do Jenny and Brian buy the present?
Which jacket does the clerk give them at first?
What colour does Li Ming hate?

Step 4 Practice
Make a note to introduce how you buy presents.
Work in groups to finish the task.After a while,let some groups present their notes in front of the class.
When the students are writing,the teacher walks around the classroom to solve the problems that probably happen.
Step 5 Come to “Let’s Do It!”
Read the dialogue again and ask the students to do Exercise 1.Listen to the tape and finish Exercise 2 together.
三、布置作业
1.Finish off Exercise 3 in “Let’s Do It!”.
2.Write a note to introduce how you buy present for your family or friend.
