Chapter 3 A dangerous servant一、章节分析(Section Analysis)(一) 综述本单元是一篇家庭肥皂剧似的课文，通过Benny 一家的谈话，学生可以在一个轻松的故事情节中学习：Whats electricity？ What does electricity look like？ How does it come into our flats？等与电相关的知识。在引导学生对文章进行整体理解的同时，让学生知道，Electricity is a good servant, but a dangerous one, We must always be careful with it. 学习一些核心词汇和词组如：although, invisible, produce, be careful with, be connected to, change into等。本设计结合课文特点，对教材内容进行了重组，将课文21个小节分成4大块，并把第一块和最后一块先教学，让学生对故事情节有个比较完整的了解，然后对难点板块作重点的分析和解读，同时通过创设问题情境，引导学生带着问题去阅读，以培养学生边阅读边思考的好习惯。本部分的教学任务有两个：1、对课文进行整体阅读。运用不同的教学方法和手段，帮助学生逐块分析、理解，以此丰富教法和学法，提高学生的阅读兴趣。2、渗透生命教育的理念，帮助学生了解电的相关知识，并在日常生活中节约用电，安全用电。(二) 阅读目标1、知识目标：学习课文中重点单词、词组、句型和语法2、能力目标：通过创设问题情境，引导学生带着问题去阅读，培养学生良好的阅读习惯，同时教会他们沉浸文本，享受阅读的乐趣，以提高学生的阅读理解能力。3、情感目标：帮助学生对电的相关知识有一个较好的了解，并在日常生活中树立节约用电，安全用电的意识。(三) 教学方法利用任务型教学法组织教学。通过重组教材内容，对各段落各板块作不同的处理和设计，减少学生理解的困难，帮助学生理解全文，达到教学目标。(四) 重点和难点1、词汇学习(1) 核心词汇danger /dangerous servant trick electricity foolish flowamount bill monthly explanation / explain form energyinvisible / visible connect cable polite / politely containstory movement clear carry around produce(2) 拓展词汇 measure bury scratch bulb grin battery chemical(3) 词组和短语a packet of sweets in packets at last flow throughin a way get a bill for be careful withchange into forms of energy think ofmake electricity produce electricity be connected to2、句型学习：although 引导的让步状语从句被动语态句式(be connected / be buried .)二、教学设计 (Teaching Designs)教学内容教学实施建议教学资源参考Pre-reading为了激活学生已有的背景知识，激发学生学习的兴趣，扩大学生的知识面，为接下来的阅读作一些铺垫，建议老师用一个课时完成以下任务：复习学生已知的家用电器的英文表达。介绍与电相关的一些词汇。利用课本提供的练习A：“What do you know about .”利用图片或情景介绍课文中的部分新词汇：如meter, measure, bulb, cable, wire, scratch, connect, grin, battery等，为学生整体阅读课文扫清障碍。牛津英语教学参考While-reading这是本课的主体部分，也是老师处理的重点，既要引导学生学习重点词汇和句型，又要培养学生的阅读兴趣，训练学生的阅读技巧，提高学生的阅读理解能力。建议老师对教材内容进行重组，并分块进行教学，以突出重点，分解难点，帮助学生更好地理解课文。要求学生快速略读，获得课文的大概轮廓，能在有限的时间内运用skimming技巧，找到最基本的信息。把文章21节分四块，引导学生分块进行阅读。教学时将第一块和最后一块先教，让学生对故事情节有个比较完整的了解，然后对中间两块作重点的分析和解读。具体处理这部分内容的建议见(键接1)对教材内容的处理利用课本P47练习E“Read and think”中的diagram，让学生说说电是如何进入每一个家庭的，以巩固刚学过的内容，为Post-reading的讨论作好铺垫。链接2 课件Post-reading这部分是课文的拓展部分，也是进行情感教育的部分，结合课文内容让学生讨论电对我们现代生活的重要性，我们应该节约用电，更要注意安全用电。链接1说明：对教材内容的处理While-reading procedure:I.
