1. 能根据已学语音、音标及发音规则,正确朗读下列词汇并知其大意,能够准确拼写:around, few, a few, game, sit, ping-pong, lesson, write, aha, blackboard, at the back of, draw, picture
2. 在Section A和Section B的语法基础上,能熟练地将“现在进行时”运用于各种人称的特殊疑问句、一般疑问句并进行肯定和否定回答;
3. 能够在图片的帮助下读懂体现校园生活的文章,并按要求进行语言活动;
4. 能通过观察身边的人用现在进行时描述他们正在进行的活动;
5. 能够根据图片预测文章大意;
6. 能够在谈论校园中正在进行的丰富多彩的活动中,发现校园生活的乐趣,从而培养热爱校园生活、乐于参加学校各种活动的意识。

Step 1 Revision
According to 2a in Section B, make up new dialogues in pairs.

Step 2 Pre-reading
1. Look at the pictures and describe what the students are doing.
2. Look at the pictures and try to predict the main idea of the passage.
【设计意图】通过学生描述图片并根据图片预测文章大意等活动,为接下来的阅读做准备。
Step 3 While-reading
Work on 1a&1b
1. Read and underline the structure be + v.-ing in 1a and read the sentences aloud.
Example:
(Miss Wang is showing a new student around the school.)
2. Read 1a and match the activities with the students.
3. Fill in the blanks according to the passage.
【设计意图】通过练习,锻炼学生从短文中寻找具体信息的能力;通过对文章框架的梳理,以细节填空的方式,帮助学生整体把握文章结构,检测学生理解文章细节内容和概况大意的能力。
Step 4 Post-reading
Learn a language point
Miss Wang is showing a new student around the school.
show sb. around意为“领某人参观……”,也可以说show sb. round。
拓展1:show sb. sth. = show sth. to sb.
e.g. Please show me this new dress. = Please show this new to me. 请让我看看这条新连衣裙。
拓展2:around还可作介词,后接数字,相当于about。
e.g. There are around / about 400 students in the library.
图书管里大约有400名学生。
【设计意图】呈现本课的重要语言点,帮助学生掌握相关知识。
Work on 2a-3
1. Look at the pictures in 2a and complete the sentences individually. Then check the answers with partners.
2. Do 2b. Work in pairs. Ask and answer questions with the information in 2a.

A: Is the boy cleaning the blackboard?
B: No, he isn’t.
A: What is he doing?
B: He is drawing pictures.

3. Do 3. Let students observe what their classmates around them are doing now. Fill in the form.

Work on 4a&4b
1. Read the sounds in 4a aloud. Try to write down the words and complete the sentences. Then check the answers with partners. Some students tell their answers to the whole class.
2. Do 4b. Try to read the chant in 4b in pairs. Pay attention to the stress and liaison. Correct their stress and liaison each other. Then the whole class read the chant after the tape. Some students chant to the whole class.
【设计意图】通过看音标拼写单词、朗读小诗的练习,复习巩固字母组合、相应的音标以及句子重读和连读。
