Teaching procedure:
Step1 Revision
1 Talk with students about jobs.
2 Ask and answer by using the slides. Review the following sentences:
T: What does he/she do?
S: He/She is a .
3 Work in pairs
Step2 Presentation
Present this conversation by using the slides:
---What does he/she do?
---He/She is a farmer...
---Where does he/she work?
---He/She works on a farm...
Step3 Practice and Consolidation
1 Learn the new words and phrases.

2 Ask and answer in pairs, using the slides.
3.Do 1a and 1b.Work in pairs.
4. Get the students to act it out in pairs.
Step4 Pair work and Guessing game
1 Complete the sentences. Ask and answer to finish 2. Then check the answers.
2 Perform and guess the jobs in pairs. The teacher asks some students who are good at performing to do the actions in front of the class. Let the students guess: Where does he/she work?
Step5 Listening
Listen and fill out the table.Listen to the tape 3. Let the students finish it alone, and then check the answers in pairs.
Step6 Project and Homework
1 Make a survey and fill out the table. Ask what the classmates parents do. Fill in the chart and finish 4.
2 Play the game: Spin to get a job.
Ask the students to make the spin of. Ask one student to spin it. When it stops,the student ask the other students to answer. Finish 5 like this:
