Module 2   My family Unit 1  Is this your mum? 教学目标 Knowledge   aims: 1. Students will   review some of the words--   grandfather, grandmother, father (dad), mother (mum), parent, uncle, aunt,   sister, brother, cousin. 2. Students   will master some of the new words- grandparents,   son, daughter. husband, front. 3.   Students will master phrases-- on the   left, on the right, next to, in front of. 4. Key structures:     --Is this your…?       --Yes, it is. (No, it isn’t. That’s my…)     --Are   these your…?    --Yes, they are. (No, they aren’t.)     --Who’s   this?         --That’s …     --Who are…?         --Those are … Ability   aims: 1. The Ss will be able to get information from conversations   including “Is this/ Are these…? This is/That is/ Those are ”related to   family introduction. 2. Most of the   students will be able to talk about family fluently and many students will be   able to communicate with the sentence patterns “Is this/ Are these…? Who’s this?” Moral   aims: The Ss   will be able to love and respect their family. 2学情分析 教学内容分析: 本课时为本书第二模块的第一课时,是一堂听说课。本课时的主题是全家福中的家庭成员,与学生的生活密切相关。学生在之前在小学就掌握了一些基本的关于家庭成员的大部分词汇,因此在词汇方面的教学不需要花太多的时间。本课的重点句型为 “Is this/ Are these…? ”及“Who’s this?”,听前活动和听力活动都能够帮助学生学习并掌握该句型的用法。 学生情况分析: 在认知基础方面,本课的学生为刚进入初中生活的初一新生,他们好奇心强,乐于表达,有较强的模仿能力和求知欲,同时也具备了简单的英语口语交际能力。在学习基础方面,学生们已经在小学就掌握了一些基本的关于家庭成员的单词,但是还不太熟悉如何询问家庭成员的句型 “Is this/ Are these…? ”和 “Who’s this?”的用法。在学习习惯方面,学生们的学习自觉性还不够强,需要老师多加引导。 3重点难点 Teaching key points: How to use the sentence   patterns: “Is this/ Are these…? Who’s   this?” Difficult   points: The   way to make dialogues about family with “Is this/ Are these…? Who’s this?” 4教学过程 4.1第一学时 4.1.1教学活动 活动1【导入】Lead in 1. First :let the students see a part of cartoon “Peppa Pig”.And them ask students some questions.  1.How many people are there in the video ? 2.Who are they ? Second: Greeting . Free talk to lead in our today’s module (Module2 My family Unit 1Is this your mum ? ) 活动2【活动】Pre-listening Task 1. Brainstorm Ask Ss to think about and name some other family members. Ask Ss to go on learning the words about   family members. Task 2:Check the new words. 1. Let the students see the screen. A boy Tony and then study the new words(about his family). 2.Organize the students to read the new words together. Task 3:Ask   students to talk about Tony’s family according to the family photo using “This   is Tony’s …”. 活动3【活动】While-listening  Task 1. Asks   students to listen  and check in   Activity 1 the people Tony mentions. Task 2. Listen   and answer Ask Ss   to do some listening then answer the following questions. Task 3.Play the tape, ask  students to listen and check the people Tony mentions and guide the students to listen to the conversation and choose  the correct answer (Activity3). 活动4【活动】Post-listening Task 1: Reading (1) Organize the students to read the conversation with the video. (2).Ask the Ss to work with their groups to read the conversation. (3). Organize the students to underline the correct words . (4).Organize the students  to check their answers one by one. (Activity 4) Task 2:Ask students to underline the sentence patterns for asking the family members in the text. Task 3:Ask Ss to  come to the blackboard and show out the photos of their family.And then work in pairs to practice the   dialogue  by using the sentence patterns “Is this/ Are these…? Who’s this?”. 活动5【活动】Summary Ask   Ss to have a summary about how to introduce and get the information about   family members. 活动6【练习】Evaluation test
