Step1 Revision
1. Play a guess game: Who am I? Revise different names of animals.
E.g. I have long nose. I am the biggest animal on land. (elephant)
I am black and white, I like eating bamboo. (panda)
I am colorful, but I can’t live without water. (goldfish)
I am good at English, I always shout ‘One! One! One!’ (dog)
I am a bird but I can speak. (parrot)
I am afraid of cats. Cats like eating me. (mouse)
2. Free talk: Which animal do you like best? Why?
Step 2 Presentation
1. Teach some new words and phrases:
1) Birds, chickens, ducks have wings .Birds use wings to fly high in the sky.
2) We feed parrots in a cage. They often knock on the cage door. They have feathers .They look beautiful in the sun.
3) Dogs walk with paws, and like to chase balls with paws. It also has a short tail.
4) Fish have fins and a tail to swim around.
