一.Teaching aims:
1.To learn indefinite Pronoouns: anyone，anything，something，everything，nothing
2.To learn to talk about past events using the simple past tense.
3.To talk about own vacation experience and enjoy the life.
二.Key teaching emphasis:
1.—Where did you/ she/ he /they go on vacation? —I/She/He/They went to the mountains.
2. —Did you/she/he /they go with anyone? —Yes,I/She/ He/They did. /NO, I /She/He/They didn’t.
三.Teaching procedure:
Step 1: Leading in （2mins）
Give out two questions :1)Did you have a good time in your summer vacation?
2) Where did you go on your vacation ?
Students talk about these two quesitons with teacher.
Step 2: New phrases learning (3 mins）
Look and say ,to see other people’s vacation with pictures and phreases.
T: I’m glad to know you had a happy vacation. A lot of students are talking about their vacations. Lets see other people’s vacation,where they went and what they did.
Step 3: Guess (2mins)
To consolidate the new phrases by guessing game and the key sentence --- where did you go on vacation?
Step 4: 1a. (3mins)
Ask questions about what students did last Saturday .
T：Who went to the movies last Saturday? Point to one students who raises his or her hand. Sara went to the movies last Saturday. Repeat. Write this sentence on the blackboard.
Underline the word went. Go on other words ：visted 、stayed
This activity introduces the key vocabulary.Let’s see where they went and wha they did. Look at 1a and match the activities with pictures.
Step 5: 1b (2 mins)
T: Boys and girls! Please look at the picture on page1. Listen and number the people in the picture.(1-5)
Step 6: 1c (pair work) (3mins)
Make conversations about the people in 1a .like this:
A;Where did Tina go on vacation?
B:She went to the mountains.
A: Where did..... go on vacation？
B： She / He.....
Step 7: 2a. Listen and answer the questions. (5mins)
1.Teacher show the pitures and tell his/her own vacation to the students.

T:Boys and girls, this summer holiday, where did you go on your vacation?

2.T：Let’ interview another three students.try to listen and answer the questions

Step 9: 2c. Role-play conversations between Grace, Kevin and Julie. Ask some pairs to act out their conversations like this : (6 mins)

Step 10: make a report. (8mins)
