Learn some useful sentences: The young man on the bicycle was very careless. We should wear bicycle helmets when riding. If we break the traffic rules, we may get a fine and even be in danger. . Ability goals: 1. Enable students to get familiar with the words and expressions. 2. Enable students to know how to do when ride a bike. Emotion aims: 1. Stimulate students’ interest in learning English so that students actively participate in communicative activities. 2. Let students realize how to be safe when riding a bicycle. 二Key points and important  points: Key points: 1. Words: article, smoke, cancer, necessary. 2. Had better (not) do sth. Must/mustn’t do sth Ask sb (not)to do sth Give up doing sth . Difficult points: how to use modals for necessity: must, must not. 三Teaching aids: Multimedia PC and blackboard. 四Teaching procedures Step1 warm-up Let students sing a song to enliven the atmosphere. Step2 review Let students look at the pictures and make sentences by using must /should/had better/ mustn’t/shouldn’t/had better not/Don’t. Students judge which habits are good or bad for our health. Step3 leading in Present a video about smoking. Step 4 presentation 1 Present new words. Ask students to say what they think of smoking 2 Teach students new words. 3 Listen to 1a and answer the questions, and then check the answers. 4 Watch the flash and fill in the blanks. Step5 practice 1 Ask students read after the record and pay attention to the pronunciation and the intonation. Then find out the key words and phrases in the conversation. 2 Leave students enough time to practice the conversation, and then ask several groups to stand up to show their performance. 3 Ask students to retell the conversation according to the key words and phrases in the conversation. Step6 consolidation Ask students to make a conversation about drinking according to the conversation. 六 homework v Remember the new words, phrases and sentences. v Take part in the “No Smoking” activities. 说课:我将从教学材料,教学重难点,学情,教学流程来做具体的阐述。这节课所讲的内容是八年级上册Unit2 Topic2 Section B I must ask him to give up smoking。本课教材以keep healthy为中心话题展开,topic1围绕描述身体的不适和提出建议,并且重点学习了情态动词的用法。这个topic的内容让学生描绘吸烟的危害,帮助学生树立健康的生活习惯。这篇文章的重难点是掌握must/mustn’t的运用以及give up和ask 的用法。我通过任务型教学法和多媒体辅助教学充分发挥老师的主导作用和学生的主体作用,通过课件为学生创造生动活泼的语言环境,激发他们学习的积极性。通过连贯的听说读写,竞赛,表演培养学生的交际能力,发展他们的创新型思维。八年级的学生通过一年多的英语学习有了一定的英语基础和听说读写能力,已经有了初步的自主、合作、探究、实践的能力。我首先以一首英语歌曲让学生进入到良好的学习氛围中,然后复习前面所学的知识,接着导入新单词,熟悉新单词,然后呈现新内容,在学生完成任务后再进行操练,在操练的过程中让学生理解熟悉所要学习的知识点。
