Let’s learn a new song today,happy every day . I will divide into two groups ,the girl team,the boy team Listen carefully and try to sing the song together . And know which team they are in. try to provoke interests of their learning. Show the learning aims 1 can understand the conversation and master key words (读懂对话,掌握短语). 2 can describe something using past continuous tense.(学会运用过去进行时表达) 3 can enjoy the story and be glad to read English books(能够与故事中的人物共同感受,培养爱读书的习惯)。 Read the learning aims by themselves and know the targets of this lesson cognitive objectives Practise the past continuous tense Look at the sentence “ we are singing, we are dancing” What structure is it? Look at some pictures,and try to practise some sentences. What were they doing at 10 yesterday? They were````` Let’s play a game : Who has the quickest eye? Ask one student, What were you doing at the same time yesterday? Were you studying? Were you sleeping? the structure of the present progressive tense, am is are+doing try to sum up the structure of the past continuous tense. Was were+doing Try to practise these carefully and master the new structure. Try to master the grammer in a real situation Learn about the new grammer ,compared with the present progressive tense. Listening and reading Sum up 1,Show them a picture of the white rabbite, let us meet his friend , and show them some pictures, Alice, the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat ,etc. 2, Read all the names to them ,and correct their pronunciation then play the tape-recorder. 3,Work in pairs to read their conversation as many times as possible. 4,Let us retell the story 5,Reading makes a full man Know the characters in the story, know the basic features of these characters. Learn the key phrases: fall down, smile at , a tea party, strange, look at watch etc. ①Listen and number the characters in the story in the oder you hear them. ②Listen to their conversation and answer some questions about the story. Try to finish this table about the conversation.. Be sure to read many books as many as you can. Improve their listening reading ability and collect information correctly.
