It does not process existing footage to give it a “3D effect”. Instead, you create a Solid and apply the ProAnimator filter to it. Up to six different materials can be applied to each object and that object may use those six materials in a variety of ways. A scene can have as many objects as you need and objects or groups of objects can be rotated and positioned independently. Up to six lights can be used, and once you get your lights perfect they can be saved and reused in future projects. Object manipulation within the 3D scene is being done in a way that’s completely new. Single and multiple objects can be manipulated with speed and fluidity. There are a full compliment of short cut keys. ProAnimator comes with Object and Camera presets that make it easy to apply an animation quickly, or let you resave and re-use any animation. ProAnimator also uses a behavioral animation system. Be sure to click the “Make Comp Size” button. If you apply ProAnimator to a Solid that is smaller or larger than comp size, you will experience clipping at the edges of the Solid. Let’s begin with creating 3D Text. The first time you apply ProAnimator, you will see a start up menu to create objects. When you apply a material onto an object, a copy of the swatch is made automatically. To edit the material, go to the Material Palette, and double click the material. Materials applied to an object are copied into the Material Palette. To edit a material applied on an object, double click the material from the Material Palette. All the materials, edge profiles, depth settings, etc, are saved as a style so you can quickly apply an existing style to your objects, or save your own object styles for future projects. 一个对象样式包含一个对象的所有设置。 所有的材质,边缘轮廓,深度设置等,都保存为一个样式,您可以快速应用一个现有的样式到你的对象,或为今后的项目保存自己的对象样式。   If you deleted an Object Style, you can recreate the swatch as long as you have an object in the scene that is using that Object Style. Once you click on a Material, the mapping information shows up in the bottom section of the Material Docks panel. If you want Objects to animate separately, place the objects into different Object Tracks.
