教学目标:
1、 认知目标:
a、掌握“be going to”的用法。
b、学会乐器的名称。
2、 能力目标:
能够使用简单的海报来传达信息。
3、 情感目标:
通过任务型活动,培养学生学习上自主、合作、探究的精神;通过情景式教学和表演,激发学生的兴趣,培养学习英语的积极性,充分发挥学生的主体地位。
教学重难点:
重点:乐器名称的掌握和习惯用语的操练。
难点:“be going to”的用法。
教学步骤:
Step 1、Show the learning aims and let a student read them.
Step 2、Revision
Show some pictures to all students and practice the following sentences:
What hobbies did you use to have two years ago?
What hobbies do you have now?
Step 3、Show the pictures in 2a, page 62. The students look at them and learn the new words:
concert, violin, drum, musical instrument, artist etc.
The students look at the pictures in 2a, page 62, listen to the tape and number them.
Step 4、The students look at the pictures in 2a, page 62 and make conversations with the following questions:
1、What musical instruments do you know?
2、What kind of musical instrument can you play?
3、Which do you want to learn, the piano or the guitar? Why?
4、 Are you going to learn the drums?
The Sample:
A: Look at the pictures. What musical instruments do you know?
B: I know A is a violin, B is a piano, C is a guitar and D is a drum.
A: What kind of musical instrument can you play?
B: I can play the guitar. / I can’t play any of them.
A: Which do you want to learn, the piano or the guitar? Why?
B: The piano. Because it sounds beautiful.
A: Are you going to learn the drums?
B: Yes, I am. / No, I’m not.
Step 5、
1、The students enjoy the flash music“My Heart Will Go On”to know something about Titanic and Celine Dion.
2、The students look at the picture in 1a, picture 61, listen to the tape and answer the following questions:
a、What’s the name of her famous song?
b、Where will she give the concert?
c、What time is it going to start?
3、The students listen to the tape and repeat.
4、The students practice the conversation in pairs.
5、Some students act out the conversation in pairs.
6、The students read the conversation freely and find some difficult points in the conversation.
Step 6、The students read the conversation again and complete the poster in 1b, page 61.
Step 7、The students read the passage in 2c, page 62 and choose the correct answers. (D、B、D、A)
The students read the following passage and write down a poster.
There will be a Movie Show in our School Hall. It will start at 5:00 P.M and finish at 11:00 P.M. “Gone with the Wind” and “The Sound of Music” will performed. They are both very exciting.
