Play the tape once.Let students listen for the sample answer.
Play the tape again.Students listen and complete the task.Repeat playing the tape as often as necessary.

Activity 2c provides opportunities for open ended speaking and listening practice with the target vocabulary and structures.
Replay the first dialogue about music.Tell students to listen for the structures.
Read the instructions.Explain to students that they should make up their own answers,not just repeat what is on the tape.
Ask two or more pairs of students to practice the sample dialogue for the class.
Students complete the task.Walk around the room checking pronunciation.Ask some pair of students to practice their conversations for the class.
