Step1、We have learned some experiments,such as “The force is all around you” “Weird mud”,today let's enter another experiment.
Step2、Presentation
1)Come to “THINK ABOUT IT!”Discuss them in groups.
2)Presentation
Look at these things. Can you name them?How do we use them to do the experiment? Fill out the charts.
1.Put the candle in the candleholder.
2.Put the candleholder in the dish.
3.Fill the dish half full of water.
4.Light the candle.
5.Let the candle burn for two or three minutes.
6.Carefully put the jar over the candle until the top of the jar rests on the dish.
7.Look at the water in the jar. What observation can you make
Step3 Doing and explaining.
Divide students into groups with three or four. Have them explain as they do it. After doing that,what's your conclusion?Is it interesting?What experiment would you like to do in this unit?Choose one and have a try as the PROJECT says.
