Step2 review the reading
present 动词 “颁发，授予，尤指在某种仪式上颁发，授予”
eg: He was invited to present the prizes at the Model Contest. 他授邀在模特大赛上颁奖。
固定搭配：present sb with sth/ present sth to sb.将某物授予某人。
winner 作为可数名词，表示“获胜者”
eg: Who’s the winner of the tennis match.这次网球赛的获胜者是谁？
Win 是动词，表示“赢，赢得”
interest 在此作可数名词，“兴趣”。
show an interest in sth.对某物表示出兴趣
have an interest in sth 对某物有兴趣
take an interest in sth 对某物产生兴趣
have no interest in sth 对某物美兴趣
lose interest in sth 对某物失去兴趣
the rushing water “淙淙的流水” the blowing wing “飒飒的风“。这两个名词短语中都含有现在分词，它们在句子中具有形容词的性质，均用作定语修饰名词，表示正在进行的主动作。
eg: I walked quietly in order not to wake my sleeping father我悄悄地走是为了不吵醒我那正在睡觉的爸爸。
5．get to know sb /sth “逐渐了解某人/某事
eg：We got to know each other from then on.从那以后我们逐渐了解彼此。
get to do sth 有机会做某事 get sb /sth to do sth让某人/某物做某事。
be known for “因…而著名”，相当于be famous for,其后常借表示人或物某方面的特点，特长，价值等内容的名词，说明著名的原因。Eg:This place is known/famous for its hot springs
by doing sth “通过做某事“其中，by是介词，其后常接表示手段，方法，途经等内容的名词，代词或动名词。
Eg: I’ll contact you by email.我会发电子邮件来联系你。
by 的常见用法：（1）by+地点 在…旁边 （2）by +时间 在…之前 （3）用于被动语态 被… 由…
to dream without boundaries 动词不定式短语在句子中作表语，对主语进行解释说明。
Eg: My job is to sweep the floor我的工作是擦地板
Step3 review the grammar
Since and as are also used to give reasons for something.
Usually the reasons are already known. Their tone is weaker
than because.
Since he had no musical instruments then, he made music with

1. Show enough details instead of telling a fact
2. Use good words or sentences to create pictures
3. … In this way, you can make the piece more interesting to read or much easier to understand. In a word, when you are writing a piece never forget about its reader(s)..
