三、教学过程:
Reading 1
Step I 呈现
1. 与学生就自己学校的情况进行交流,呈现新知识。教师说: Look at our school. Is it beautiful? Do you like it? 鼓励学生表达自己的真实观点。教师说:I think our school is beautiful. It is so good .板书so. 接着问学生: What can you see in the school? 鼓励学生根据实际情况回答:We can see tall trees , beautiful flowers and a playground .
2. 教师接着向学生呈现事先准备好的校园图片。教师说:In our school, we can also see some buildings. Look at this building. Some tall trees are in front of it .板书building 和in front of .教师呈现更多图片并说: What’s in front of ….? Which building is our classroom in ? Which building is our art room in? Which building is our school hall in ? 板书hall, 检验学生掌握的情况。教师接着说:Look at this building . How many floors are there in the building? 和学生一起数:Let’s count. One, two, three, four. Oh, there are four floors in this building .指着一楼说:This is the ground. Is our classroom on the ground floor? 板书ground 和on the ground floor, 鼓励学生根据实际情况回答。
3. 教师利用所在教室呈现新知识。教师说: Our classroom is on …floor. The classroom is so bright .We have a computer room too. It looks very modern. 板书 bright 和modern.
Step II 操练
1 向学生展示校园的平面示意图,指导他们用学过的表达谈论自己的校园。教师说:Our school is a beautiful school. Today, some foreign visitors come to our school. Would you please look at the map and introduce our school to them? 教师可以为学生提供一些句型:
(1)There are …buildings in our school.
(2) There are …floors in the building.
(3) … is on the ground floor.
(4) The classroom is ….
(5) … is in front of…
Step IV 操练
1 再次为学生播放录音,指导他们跟读对话。教师说:Let’s read Millie and her mother’s conversation after the tape .
2 将班级分为两大组,请学生分别扮演Millie 和她的妈妈朗读对话。教师说 I’d like these two groups to be Millie and these two groups to be her mother. Shall we read the conversation? Then we can change the roles.如有需要还可以分男女再次朗读。
Step V 活动
1 指导学生两人一组练习对话表演。教师说:It’s role-play time. Work in pairs and suppose you are Millie and her mother.
2 鼓励学生尝试表演对话,提醒学生神态,动作等要力求自然。对有能力的学生可让他们适当发挥,设计新的情节。
3教师请不同层次的几组学生表演,允许学生根据情节需要,在教室内自由走动。
4 如学生有困难,可以将对话分成几部分表演。
