Unit 7 How much are these socks
一、Teaching and learning Goals:
(一)知识目标:
1.学生能够用一些常用的服装单词:sock, T-shirt, shorts, sweater, trousers, shoe, skirt,以及一些用来形容服装的单词: big, small, short long
2.能够简单的使用谈论价格的句型:
How much is ……..? It is …..dollars/yuan.
How much are……..? They are …….. dollars/yuan.
(二)能力目标:能够用英语谈论物品的价格,培养学生用英语购物的能力。
(三)情感目标:激发学生用英语交流的兴趣
二、教学重难点:(一)掌握一些服装类的词汇及询问价格的基本句型;
(二)How much引导的句型中的主谓数的一致以及回答时价格的正确表达方式。

(二)Lead in
Make a dialogue between a teacher and students:
1. T: Hello, everyone!Do you like shopping in shops?

T: Do you like buying beautiful clothes?

T: Do you know how to talk about the prices of clothes?
Ss: No, I don’t.
T: Ok, let’s learn Unit7 and talk about how to talk the prices of clothes.
Ask the students to look at the picture on P37and match the words with the things in the picture.

2. Ss practice the conversation with their partners. Then make other conversations about the things in 2c.
3. Let some Ss act out their conversations.

(六)Inquiry into knowledge by translation
1._____, _________,________,___________这类物品常常成对出现, 所以它们作主语时,和它们搭配的谓语动词用_________。例如:

如果这类词前面有“…pair (s) of (……条/双)”修饰时,谓语动词就要根据pair的单复数形式发生相应的变化。例如:

2.how much用于提问某物的价格,意为
其句式为“How much + be +主语?”
当主语是 或可数名词单数时,be动词用is,答语为It’s+数额;当主语是可数名词复数时,be动词用 ,答语为They’re+数额。如:
这个包多少钱?
这些苹果多少钱?
3. Can I help you?
这是商店售货员或其他服务人员招呼顾客时的礼貌用语,相当于
接受对方的帮助常回答“Yes, please.”;拒绝对方的帮助用“No, .”作答。如:
—Can I help you? 我能帮助您吗?
— . I want a pen. 是的
4. I need a sweater for school.
need是实义动词,意为 。
常用于以下句式中:
1) need+sth.,表示“需要某物”。如:
I need some erasers.
2) need +to do sth. 表示“需要做某事”,这时need的主语是“人”。如:
You need to put on your jacket.
5. I’ll take it.
此句是选好商品并决定购买时的常用语。若选定的物品是单数,可以说“Here it is.” 若选定的物品是复数则应说 。
如:
The sweater is cheap.
(我买了)。
—The oranges are 2 dollars. 这些桔子两美元。
— (我买了)。
