(1).Check their homework and dictate the new words and expressions they learned last lesson.
(2).Have a free talk. Talking about how they learn English well.
2. Presentation[
(1). T: Li Ming, do you ever learn English by listening to tapes?
L: Yes, I often listen to English tapes.
T: Let’s watch a video and see how they learn English.导入新课,通过投影展示一副情景:一些学生在英语俱乐部学习.
投影出1a中的questions,学生朗读questions,接着学生听对话,勾出听到的questions,核对答案.复习 What about…的用法。
确定了3a的questions之后,学生看到3b中的Answers,叫四个学生分别读出这些Answers,再放一遍录音,核对答案.
(2).2c. Point to the simple conversation in the box, Ask two students to read it to the class. Read the instructions to the class. Ask them to make a conversation using information from the earlier activities.然后展示对话
Review the grammar box. Ask students to say the questions and answers. Then circle the phrase “ by gerund” in each sentence.[
