Step One: compare their preview works among the same level.
T : 1. Draw a check table on the blackboard.
2. Listen to the report from the winners. Try to find out how they

preview, and then sum up .
3. Show the aims for students to choose.
(At the same time, students get into the next step gradually, one after another)
Step Two: Learn by themselves.
Read and say [ Grammar Focus] in pairs
1) Read or recite by themselves;
2) Show it to the Ss of their own level.
3) Comment on each other’s job, and choose the best one in their own level.
Step Three: Exploration between teachers and students.
Read the Usage Instructions about Superlative Forms on P94& P95. 1.Think over: How to compare people when there are three or more things? Tell each other your opinion.

It +be + adj最高级+比较范围（in../of..）
It +v+ adv最高级+比较范围（in../of..）
2) Ji Qiang is tallest in our class 这个句子对吗？怎么改？
3) of/in 短语表示范围有区别吗？怎么用？
2. What is the rules of changing an adj/adv into it’superlative forms?
Step Four: Practice
1.3a: Fill in the blanks in 3a .
Ss finish the task by themselves, while the teacher correct the job of the fast Student in each group. The student lead the rest of his group members to check the answers.
2. 3b: Think of three stores in your town and compare them.
Fill in the form in 3b. Then ask and answer 3b with your partner.
3. Practice: Think of your three friends or classmates, and compare them like this:
