MODULE 3 My new school Part 2: Teaching Resources第二部分 教学资源Section 1: Background Readings1. there be 结构用法归纳There be结构中的be是谓语动词，它在人称和数上应和其后的主语（名词）保持一致，即主语是不可数名词或单数可数名词时用is，复数时用are。例如： There is a bird in the tree树上有只鸟。 There is some meat on the plate盘里有些肉。 There are some people in the room屋里有些人。 若be后有两个或两个以上的名词做主语时，be动词应采取“邻近原则”，即be应与邻近的主语在数上保持一致。例如： There is a pen and two rulers in the pencil-box文具盒里有一支钢笔和两把尺子。 There are three apples and a pear in the basket篮子里有三只苹果和一只梨。 There be结构中的谓语动词有时不用be，而用其他动词，使语言表达更生动形象，如live，stand，lie等词。例如： Long，long ago，there lived a king很久以前有一个国王。 There stands a school on the hill山上有所学校。 There be结构常见时态有一般现在时、一般过去时、一般将来时、现在完成时等，其时态的变化都是通过be动词来完成和体现的。其具体形式如下： 时态谓语动词例句一般现在时are/isThere are two chairs in the room.一般过去时were/wasThere was a bike near the house a moment ago.一般将来时will be/is(are)going beThere will be a meeting tomorrow afternoon.There are gong to be two football matches.现在完成时have/has beenThere have been great changes in my hometown.此外，There be结构还可以和情态动词连用，表示推测。例如： There must be no one in the room屋里肯定没人。2. 英语称呼细讲究Mr 是 Mister （先生）或 Master （主人）的缩写，可以用于一切男子（不论婚否）的姓或姓名的前面，它的复数形式是 Messrs。如：Mr Green 格林先生 Mr Jim Green 吉姆。格林先生Messrs Smith， Green and Jones 史密斯先生，格林先生和琼斯先生Mr 不能与职业、职称、军衔并用，不说“ Mr Doctor ”或“ Mr Captain ”等，也不可以说“ Mr Doctor Wang ”，却可与职衔并用。如：Mr President 总统先生Mrs 是对已婚妇女的称呼，是 Mistress 的缩写，后接丈夫的姓或姓名，其复数形式是 Mesdames ，缩写为 Mmes .如：Mrs Smith 史密斯夫人，Mrs John Smith 约翰。史密斯夫人，Mesdames （ Mmes ） Rama and Kadul 拉玛夫人和卡杜勒夫人Miss 是对未婚姑娘或女子的称呼， the Misses 是 Miss 的复数。如：Miss Zhang 张小姐，the Misses Maton and Raman 马顿小姐和拉曼小姐除了 Mr 、 Mrs 和 Miss 之外，还有另外一个说法，即： Ms （女士）。这个称呼在美国日益盛行。无论是已婚的还是未婚的女子都可以用 Ms 相称。所以，当你不敢肯定某女子是“小姐”还是“太太”时，就可以称它为 Ms （女士）。该词的读音是 miz 。要注意这四种称呼后面跟的都是某人的姓，而不跟名。如不说“ Mr Jim ”或“ Miss Meimei ”，且一般不能单独使用。如需单独使用，则用 sir 或 madam 代替。3Classroom English课堂用语Good morning. 早安。 Good afternoon. 午安。 Good bye. 再见。 Stand up. 站起来。 Sit down. 坐下。 Nice to meet you. 很高兴见到你。 All together. 都在一起。 Follow me. 跟着我。 Thank you. 谢谢。 You are welcome. 不客气。 I am sorry. 抱歉。 It is all right. 没关系。 It is OK. 没关系。Open your book. 打开你的书。 Close your book. 合上你的书。 Turn to page two. 打开到第二页。 May I come in? 我可以进来吗?
