针对Unit 7 What does he look like?一课的阅读教学,我认为以下几点是做得比较有效的:
1. 对篇章结构的分析,以导入Topic sentence 的作用,我用了这一教学步骤:
T: So now what is Para. 1 about?
Ss: About an interesting job-being a police artist.
T: Then how about this part, from some people to find him?
T: It supports the first sentence to tell us more about this interesting job. So the first sentence is the topic sentence of this paragraph.
而且在最后的Post-reading 中给了学生练习寻找Topic sentence的任务,实现了知识的运用。
2. 本文对情感教育的实施也非常有效,具体步骤如下:
T: Today my friend is drawing a picture of the criminal. But there are three criminals here.
(Show the three pictures in the passage.)
T: Who is more like a criminal? And why?
(Many Ss may think the first one is.)
Then have Ss read through the passage to find out the real criminal.
T: So we shouldn’t judge a person just by his appearance.
3. 本课在各个环节的设计上都时刻关注孩子的思维发展和培养,我认为这是每堂课都应该做好的关键一点。
