Play the recording for students for the first time. Students only listen. Then play it for a second time. This time students circle the names they hear. Correct the answers. Then get students to listen again and number the pictures. Get a summary: This lesson we’ve learned letters A-H and the target language. And we’ve had some listening and writing practice.
