Nowadays a lot of family has only one child, so it is the reason that children are always considered as the apple of parents’ eyes. A lot of parents always do everything that they can do for their children and permit their children from doing the thing they can do. Children also get used to depending on their parent in everything and lack of ability to solve problems on their own, which is very harmful for their growth.
These suggestions should be taken to improve the bad situation. First of all, parent should make their sons and daughters understand the importance and necessity of interdependence, so as to let children be independent. Secondly, parents should give children enough room to build their own personalities, and encourage them to overcome the difficulties or make their own decisions. Thirdly, if children cannot deal with these difficulties and need some suggestions, presents can give them some help. But, presents can’t do the things for them, help is just enough.
Personally, children should determine their own lives instead of being determining by their parents. The future is belonging to children yourselves.
